I am skilled technically with lighting and direction while still being very patient and personable. This balance I believe is the key to my candid and intimate photos. Working with Steven was the absolute best experience! We hired him to capture our sons Dol (Korean 1st birthday). We spoke a few times before the event and discussed all the party's goals and opportunities to capture the day. Day of, he showed up early to check out the space (and snap a few pre-party photos that I love). There were a lot of details to the Dol that he came prepared for, doing research ahead of time. He knew all of the crucial moments to capture. It was an extremely hot day, but he was still willing to be outside to take a series of family portraits. It was 4 hrs of activity, all that he captured beautifully. We are so happy with the photos that we will cherish forever. This was a very important day for the family, and we are so happy that we could trust it in such capable hands. I would recommend Steve 100 times over!

Steven was FANTASTIC and I can't wait to work with him on future events! He was incredibly easy to work with — very responsive before and after the event. We had a quick call before the event and he instantly understood my vision and was even able to accommodate my design request (adding our sponsor logos to the photos). He was also very flexible when we had to move our event indoors at the last minute. He arrived right on time and was very personable and friendly. All of our guests loved him and it felt like he was part of the event rather than "just" the photographer! He captured some incredible shots and made it easy to access the photos after the event. 10/10 recommend.

I hired Steven to capture outdoor headshots for the suite of 14 executive committee members. As a sustainability consulting company and an approachable, client-centric brand, it was important for our executives to be captured in a genuine state in a green space. The directive was to have slightly different backgrounds for each so the headshots were unique to the person but the photos together were also a collective. Steven hit the nail on the head! The photos were a huge hit with each of the subjects and helped us establish our new brand. I would definitely work with Steven again.
