I offer cosmetic & aesthetic (skin care) treatments prior to the event, so you will be “Picture Perfect”.
Examples: eyebrow tinting and shaping, eyelash, temping, and temporary extensions, dermaplaning, micro dermabrasion, LED light therapy. Please note; if you are a makeup artist Client, your aesthetic treatments will be at discounted rate for yourself & members of the bridal/event party.
I am willing to stay during the wedding/event for Red carpet & Photo touchups. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you have. I consider myself a very flexible & professional. My service prices vary, depending on the event.
This platform requires me to give a set dollar amount however that is not the way that I work. I am negotiable with all clients. Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions.

I flew in from out-of-town for a wedding weekend and needed to book hair and makeup services last-minute. Raquel reached out to me in no time wanting to help me get ready. I explained to her that I was a bridesmaid at my first ever South Asian wedding, so I felt a lot of pressure to look good. She reassured me that I would look and feel glamorous. She did not disappoint and in fact blew me away with her makeup skills, options, and insights. I wanted to hand a lot of control to her because I wasn't sure what might suit me, but she insisted on hearing what I had to say and incorporated my choices and vision with her own suggestions. Not only was my makeup flawless, she also styled my hair beautifully and tried a look I had never done before, but the risk was so worth it! She is a perfectionist, pays attention to every last detail, and truly wants her clients to be happy. The entire experience was so much fun and comfortable and took away a lot of the stress that can come with getting ready for special events. She was also very personable and priced so fairly. If you're lucky enough to live in the Boston area, I highly recommend taking advantage of Raquel's services!

Kaitlin H Raquel first came to my home for services towards the end of the pandemic catering to my discomfort with receiving services outside of my home. Recently I had her come back because of the good impression she left upon our first session. She is very professional yet also very kind, soothing, and an overall delight to be around. She is very knowledgeable about aesthetics and I am very pleased with the skin care I received; the dermaplane and enzyme mask left my face feeling extremely soft and smooth looking. She was understanding and listened to me in detail about my key issues with my skin in which she recommended products that have shown actual results making me feel more confident in my daily activities. I also had Raquel tint my eyelashes. She chose the lash colored based on her expertise towards what would compliment my eye and skin color and the finishing results gave my usual blonde eyelashes definition for the first time. I no longer have to worry about smudging mascara underneath my eyes in the morning while struggling to put mascara on the hard to apply lower lashes. I recommend her services and will be enlisting them again in the future.

I would definitely recommend Raquel for any special occasion! She arrived super-prepared & really listened to me so she could personalize my look to exactly what I was looking for. I requested a more natural look & the lashes she gave me looked amazing...not that fake-look at all. She prepped my skin, chose colors and styles that would accentuate my dress and personal style & that were just right for my event. In addition to my makeup application, Raquel styled both my hair and outfit--all the way down to what jewelry and bag would best accentuate my look. She was a pleasure to work with, making me feel less anxious about my day and I felt confident & beautiful when she was finished. She was also very accommodating with the time frame I had requested and punctual. She was warm and friendly & made sure everything looked & felt exactly like I wanted it to before we were finished. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price depends on the event, service options, number of clients in the party, and travel. The trial run (prior to the event) is complimentary
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make sure i focus on their skin care needs to make sure their skin is in great shape before their event, including brow, shaping and or tinting. I ask them to provide me photos of the look, they desire. I have a full complementary zoom consultation with the client. Once they book I take a deposit, for weddings I do a trial run. Events a trial run is optional. I offered discount to friends and family for parties over three.
