I first met Diane over 10 years ago when she was hired by Fidelity Investments to help Investor Center representatives build more relations with their clients and grow their networks. As the Global Learning leader at NATIXIS, I reconnected with Diane - as I needed help to get our employees more comfortable at business events and functions. Then she explains in practical terms how to network. She provides tips for basic human interaction and instructions how to use LinkedIn to professionally engage. And she explains how we can build our networking muscles -- low-pressure ways to get comfortable talking with people we don't already know.

- I'm a paid professional speaker so when I do public speaking coaching, I know what works and what doesn't. - As a speaker, I took standup comedy (not sure that's really education and/or training) in order to overcome my fear of public speaking. - I've run my own business for over 15 years so I know how to market and succeed on a shoestring.
