In February, I hired Jessica Conlan (Jess Lee Images / Solwildestudio) to take some headshots for me. She was very welcoming at her nice studio and made the experience very enjoyable. She was quite thorough with her work, taking pictures of many poses with different angles and backgrounds. She did great preparing a nice selection of photos and charged a very reasonable price. I attached one of the headshots. As I develop my craft, I will likely hire her again to take more headshots for me. We had a large group family shoot of eleven people, and Jasmine was a rock star. She was encouraging and warm, allowing us to really be ourselves in the photos. Lara B. says, "Everyone still talks about how nice our wedding photographer was, and it’s true! Charan is a gem! I am so lucky to have found his profile here. As soon as I saw his portfolio, I knew he was the one I wanted for our special day. Due to unseasonably cold and rainy weather, our outdoor wedding got moved inside. All 19 of us crammed into our modest living room, and a narrow hallway became the aisle. The kids and I had to walk it single file, me on crutches. Charan had to figure out how to capture all the important moments in spite of the cramped space, all while keeping out of the way. I don’t know how he threaded that needle, but he did it beautifully. He has such a kind, gentle, and unobtrusive presence. Getting my family to stay in one spot while he did our family photos was like herding cats. He went with the flow and seemed to have endless patience. Oh and did I mention the photos are stunning? He has such an eye for composition and he captured so many special moments perfectly.
