FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Spring discount is in full swing until the end of March for the first 10 clients to book with me :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let me break it down for you! 1. Initial consultation - We get on a call to discuss their photography needs, preferences, and expectations. This will allow us to get to know one another and discuss details for the shoot itself. 2. Proposal and contract: Based on the initial consultation, I'll create a proposal and agreement that outlines the scope of the project, pricing, and any other terms and conditions for you to look over. Once this is signed and the deposit is sent, we're good to move on to step 3. 3. Planning and preparation: I'll contact you further to coordinate for outfits, locations, and the vibe of shoot you're trying to go for. This is where we start the creative process. 4. Photo session: I'll will work closely with you to ensure that you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the shoot. Previous clients typically tell me they didn't even feel that it was a photo session but rather just a relaxing time at a beautiful location. Typical questions I get: "We've never done this before and we're kinda nervous about it" I would be too - especially when working with someone that you haven't met before! Many people feel a bit uneasy about being in front of the camera for the first time. It's normal to feel this way and I'm here to guide you through the process and make you feel comfortable. My goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for you, where you can feel free to be yourself and enjoy the moment. I'll provide direction and guidance during the shoot, so you don't need to worry about posing or knowing what to do. The photo session is meant to be a fun and memorable experience and that's what we'll make it! 5. Image selection, editing and delivery: After the shoot, I'll review and select the best images from the session. I'll then edit the selected images and send previews over for you to take a look. From there the full album will be edited and delivered to you via an online gallery. 6. Follow-up, feedback and review: I'll make sure that you're happy with the results and in the case that you are - I'll ask for your feedback and review on Thumbtack which will help grow my business. If you have any other questions no matter how big or small, feel free to ask!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I don't have any formal education or training in photography, but I have been shooting for years and years and have gained a lot of practical knowledge and experience through my passion for photography. I love what I do and I'm always eager to learn new things and experiment with different techniques and styles. I've had the opportunity to work with all sorts of clients and brands over the years, which has helped me to better understand their needs and preferences to ultimately improve my communication skills. While formal education and training can be valuable, I believe that my hands-on experience and dedication to my craft have helped me to develop a unique style and approach that sets me apart from others.
