David N. says, "I wanted my small front yard turned into a small rock garden. The main goal was to eliminate having to weed the front. The space was covered in Japanese knotweed and made turning this into a garden all but impossible as well as requiring regular weeding. But if the small frontage could be made to look interesting then all the better. Dave, the owner, worked with me in determining the best kind of stone layer for covering the ground. He understood what I what kind of look I wanted. When I explained that I was interested in placing some boulders (total a couple hundred lbs!) to create a minor design he understood and worked with me in figuring out what would be good. The boulders he picked were perfect. Two had buld but one was large with a flat service. He understood the idea of interestingly shaped boulder. Now the front actually looks interesting. It resembles a Japanese rock garden. Which is so appropriate considering it a plot land covered by Japanese knotweed. In addition Dave solved another problem area that had growths and even a tree that I needed gone. I hate the idea of removing any tree but this one was creating problems for my home and my neighbor's home. The growths in this area were removed and then covered in stone. Dave removed all the growth. Dispatched it. Installed the weed barriers, all the stones and the large stones. And all of the work was done in less than a day. I heartily recommend Dave and his landscaping company."See more
