Gladys officiated our wedding with 6 days notice and it was everything we needed it to be! Gladys was more than excited to meet with us beforehand in our limited time to get to know us a bit before the wedding and learn about our relationship. When it came to the day of the wedding, Gladys was professional, warm, and made everyone feel welcome. We loved having a ceremony conducted in both Spanish and English, Gladys did a great job making both parts of the family feel included in the small beautiful ceremony we had. Our wedding was special, unique , beautiful and intimate. It could not have been all that it was without Glayds officiating.
Cathleen was fantastic from day 1. She responds quickly, professionally and her knowledge of the industry is excellent. She was a solo bartender for our wedding of 115. The guests loved her!
Valen was awesome. I booked her five days before my wedding and she responded right away. I was a little bit nervous to have somebody do my make up who I haven't done a trial with but after seeing the dynamic at work that She does I knew I had nothing to worry about and boy was I right! Cheryl was friendly, professional, and quite helpful.This all above the excellent job she did with the ladies included in my wedding party. It was a pleasure meeting with her and she gave me some great skin and hair tips that I continue to use well after my wedding. My daily make up routine consists of mascara and lip gloss (I do not like the weight of makeup on my very sensitive skin), so I was very skeptical about having my make up done professionally. I explained my feelings to Cheryl, and although it felt like she was putting a lot of product on my face (she was just blending to the perfect tones), the end result was beautiful, natural, and light on my skin. I am very impressed and would highly recommend her to friends and strangers alike. As a side note, I had two members of my bridal party bring their own make up artist, and both ended up having Ms. Leigh do her makeup over because of the outstanding work she did with the rest of us! Jen and her team did a beautiful job with my reception center pieces, ceremonial arch décor and wedding party bouquets for my August 2017 wedding. The team was very easy to work with over email or phone. The flowers arrived and looked fresh and full and my bridesmaids loved their bouquets and of course I loved mine. My flowers included purple and white roses with other accent flowers and some greenery. The arch had white billowing fabric with a middle overhead flower arrangement. It's been over a week and my bouquet is still the center piece of my dining room table. Thank you so much Boston Event Diva's!
Overall I was very happy with how Classique Impressions Decor stepped up to the plate 4 weeks before my wedding!!! We had some trouble with our previous decorator, but I was very impressed with Belle's flexibility and professional responses!!! She was very easy to work with and I am happy to have had them decorate my reception. The only downfall is I wish I would've been able to work with them sooner (no fault of theirs!!!) so that we REALLY could have made my wedding come to life even more than it did!!!! Overall they did a FANTASTIC job with the time they had and I would recommend them to anyone!!!
John was excellent to work with! Even though we had unusual restrictions from our wedding venue, John designed and delivered a perfect menu! His food is delicious and his advice is honest and invaluable. We also had a few vegan guests at our wedding, and John took the challenge in stride. We had rave reviews about the food. He made sure we (bride and groom) got a chance to eat. We can't thank him enough!
Carolina, Carlos and their team were awesome! They arrived a little earlier than expected which was great because I saw a couple reviews that said they were late or didn't show up at all. From start to finish they were friendly and professional. My girls and I all got our hair and make up done just how we wanted it for my wedding on 10/6/17.
Alicia was great when she came over to my place to do the wedding make-up trial. She is talented beyond believe and really can do make-up that transforms you in the best possible way while still leaving you looking like you. You will never leave her appointment thinking "I could have done it myself"... Can't wait for her to do me and my bridesmaids on the wedding day!!
I worked with Soraya for my wedding in July. We had our reception in a beautiful hotel that included a planner, however, hired Soraya to help in addition because of the attention to detail and many decisions required during the wedding planning. I am beyond thrilled with my decision to use SYB event planning! Soraya is extremely thoughtful and has creativity mixed with imagination to make your ideas come to life! I didn't know exactly what I was looking for. She was very patient and helped me put together the most elegant and unique wedding I could've ever asked for. The day of my wedding went so smoothly, and so many guests complimented that the wedding was the most beautiful they have ever been to! If you are looking for a professional, caring, creative, personable and enthusiastic event planner, meet with Soraya. I highly recommend SYB for any party, I will definitely be using her in the future for family events/parties!
I found Malone Catering on Thumbtack while assisting my son to find a caterer for his wedding. When I first saw the menus and prices I really thought I had to be misunderstanding, His prices are so reasonable that I could not believe he was in any way related to other wedding caterers. It seems that all wedding services have a 4X markup and we really needed to stay within a very frugal budget. I called Chef Marty and found him to be very easy to work with and very accommodating and I sent his info to my son immediately. The wedding last Sunday at Camp Kiwanee was beautiful and the guests raved about the delicious food. We had requested a buffet style and Marty and his staff did the serving. Absolutely wonderful. And I cannot say enough about his staff. They were so unobtrusive I never noticed them clearing after dinner but they did an incredible job. And every one of them was friendly and helpful and seemed happy to be there. I know my son and is new wife were extremely pleased with Malone Catering. We will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a quality caterer at a reasonable price.
The henna came out beautifully. The pictures just don't do it justice! The color has been aging very nicely. The after picture was about 2 days after it was originally done. Currently it's been about a week, and the color is less orange, and more brown. I'm in love with it! Khushboo has plenty of experience with it, and it shows in her artisitc ability. She started by giving me a binder filled with designs that I could choose from. The whole process exceeded my expectations. Thank you Khushboo! <3
Cyndi cares about the small stuff. I threw a surprise 15th Anniversary party for my husband. Cyndi suggested that we renew our vows. I thought it was a great idea, so Instead of just another party, it turned into a beautiful wedding celebration. Cyndi put everything together, including asking for pictures over the years of our family that she put into video sharing our happiness with all of our guests. This was a special day that I will never forget. Thank you Cyndi. I'll be calling you for my kids' parties. Be ready.
Kelly did the day of coordination for my wedding, and all the pre-work to prepare for the day. She helped find additional staff, suggest vendors, and essentially anything I asked of her. Kelly was truly amazing and saved my wedding in so many ways! From the moment I hired Kelly, she gave me peace of mind and assurance that everything will be perfect. There is a lot of effort and coordination that goes into making a wedding, Kelly was right there with me along the way. As somebody who has orchestrated many events, she gave thoughtful suggestions to ensure my event was planned perfectly. She was always in contact, answered all my emails promptly, and calmed every worry and question I had prior to my wedding. She went over my plan and wishes in great detail to ensure she knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted everything. The day of she was a wedding saver. I got everything I planned executed as requested and the event ran without any issues (at least none I was award of), Kelly did that great of a job. I spent my wedding day dancing, enjoying the wedding I dreamed of, and visiting my family and friends, while Kelly worked extremely hard to ensure everything went as planned. She did an outstanding job and my wedding day was beyond my expectations. Thank you Kelly for everything that you did and all the things I don't know about, you were truly one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning!

Justin is by far the most creative, diligent, and committed artist out there. He can glam you head to toe for a casual date night or the met ball! Smokey eye or wedding glam, he can do it all! When I started my search for a wedding make up artist, I was extremely self conscious to go to anyone because of a lifelong struggle with terrible skin. I've never wanted to have someone "see" my skin without my usual cover up routine, as I struggle with both dry and oily skin and large pores that make me feel uncomfortable to be in public naturally. But Jen changed this for me. Not only did she jump right into my rescue to set up a trial appointment just 3 months before my wedding, but she really made me feel better about my skin and even took the time to educate me about what products I should and shouldn't be using, and what style make up applications will give me the results I am looking for! After the trial, she followed up to see how I felt about it hours after the application and if it was still giving me the results I was looking for! I was blown away that after 8+ hours, my face wasn't getting "shiny" from oily skin and my eyeliner wasn't smudging all over my eye lid, like it does when I do my own make up. It was a dream come true and EXACTLY what I needed for my wedding day! We had some back and forth leading up to the wedding to make sure we were both on the same page of some of the slight changes we were going to make and she was with me every step of the way. Jen and her assistant were prompt on the wedding day and fit right in with my bridal party and family! Once again, making everyone feel comfortable and laughing with us as we got ready for the rest of the day. They were even able to accommodate last minute requests for a couple of family members that changed their mind and wanted to have their make up done (life savers!) last minute! When I walked down the aisle, I had never felt more beautiful and more confident to show off MY skin. And even better, my husband was SO happy, that even with my make up professionally done, he still saw "me" at the end of the aisle - the exact look I wanted on our wedding day :) And once again, not only did my make up last 8+ hours, it lasted twice that amount of time AND through an outdoor photoshoot in the rain at our Venue!!! Amazingggg doesn't even begin to describe the worth of having Jen as my make up artist. Her talent is incomparable and I can't wait to refer her to whomever may need the perfect wedding touch!
We hired Sweetly Designed Events for our wedding back in September 2016. We had a very large wedding with over 250 guests and really needed help with design and day of coordinating. The owner Amanda really helped us with all the details and meet with us several times before the wedding to help us with the process. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything.
