- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Roof replacement estimates are free for homeowners. Real Estate transaction Inspections/estimates are billed hourly at $90/hr including travel and come with a roof condition report including pictures and written repair strategy wit itemized material lists and pricing and replacement estimate. Repair Service calls start at $350 and are billed on a time and material basis for most repairs =$90/ hour/man +material costs. larger repair projects can be done in a contractual basis at a flat rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Massachusetts licensed Roof Covering Supervisor, Registered HIC, 6000 hour apprenticeship with 3 years of classroom study. OSHA 30, OSHA rigging and hand signaling trained. Licensed Massachusetts asbestos supervisor. 23+ years field experience in commercial and residential roofing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started roofing for a contractor from my area after high school, joined the union in 1999, completed a 3 year apprenticeship program . since then I have work for the Top roofing shops in the Boston area, and learned from the best in the business. I currently supervise the Roof Maintenance division of a major Mission Critical Data Center and Telecom hub and operate my own commercial repair business as well .
