Contacting YIF seemed very exciting initially. My inquiry was responded to quickly and I spoke with KJ for half an hour to understand how things work and I was impressed. He asked that I email him with any questions I had. I did this, followed up with 4 emails and two phone calls over the course of several weeks. Nobody ever responded after this and I have heard nothing after 4 weeks. To me, returning calls is a critical component of a property management company. How can I count on someone to return my tenant's calls if they aren't even following up during sales process? I am not sure what happened here and maybe there is an explanation, but I will be steering clear of this group. There is no excuse to not return that many contacts.Aug 2, 2019Verified
They get back to you in immediately and they execute! I have multiple condos in Greater Boston and all of my properties are managed by YIF Management. I also put all of the condo boards at my properties in touch with YIF to manage the entire KJ is probably one of the most hands on owners I have ever met!! I lived at Newton Park for over five years and loved every minute of it. Not only was it set back on a dead end road (with a nice dog park at the end), the property was always well-maintained, and our apartment was in great condition and well looked after. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically we like to begin by providing a written proposal outlining services, capabilities, scope of practice and experience. Upon receipt of interest, we typically like to come out and meet with prospective Owners and/or Trustees. We also like to conduct a free walk through and inspection of the property along with an evaluation of needs and wants.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Our management team all hold real estate licenses as well as college degrees and have been working in property management for over 10 years.
