I’m a Brazilian-born teacher with extensive experience teaching all ages and all levels of Portuguese. I love food, music, play the guitar and make meaningful connections with people!
I hold a bachelor’s in Portuguese and English Languages and Literatures from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (yes, I’m a gaúcha, tchê!) and a master’s in Bilingual ESL from UMass Amherst. I’m specialized in Portuguese as a Heritage Language and bilingual education.
My classes are customized based on my students’ previous experiences, needs, goals and learning styles.

First, we’ll schedule an interview and then a free intro-class.
Then, based on your preferences, we’ll negotiate a plan that suits your needs and availability.
After that, you’ll have a very enthusiastic teacher (that might look more like a friend) who’ll help you in every step of this fun journey that is learning a foreign language.
