Steve was very professional when he arrived. It was very comfortable to talk with him and he got the job done in a reasonable time at a reasonable price. Thank you for cleaning our gutters! It helped with the water seepage into our basement.
Had just moved into our apartment had realized the disposal and sink drain were completely wrecked. Running the water for five seconds would result in a back up into our sink. Paul was able to come out very quickly (on his day off no less) and replace our disposal in less than an hour. It turned out that the clog was further down in the building's pipes, but Paul fixed everything that was broken on our end and was completely transparent about his rates. Really nice guy and the only plumber we could find who was willing to do a house call after 5 PM on a weekday.
He winterized our irrigation system. Did a good job. We actually screwed something up by turning the water back on and he came back to do it again and didn't charge us. I definitely recommend him and would use him again.
Mike was absolutely professional and was able to quickly repair the landscape pool for my clients. I would unequivocably recommend his services for any landscaping and water features. Prompt, responsive and great value!
Mike in stalled a 28 head irrigation system for me. His price was very competitive and the job was done professionally. I was very happy with it. He also came right out to make some needed adjustments. I highly recommend.
They did an incredible job repairing the water damaged walls in our basement from our water heater that burst. They were attentive to our needs and did a flawless job on the wall repairs. Kimberly even went above and beyond to say they would deal with my insurance company. I would definitely use Rickman Construction again.
Gus helped out when my basement flooded after a furnace malfunction. He arrived promptly to view the necessary work, gave a reasonable estimate and came the next day to do the job. This included removing items to the garage, disposing of damaged items, mopping up the remaining water and removing, drying and replacing carpet. The process took approximately 4-5 hours. I would definitely hire him for future projects and highly recommend him.
Gaelle and Vinnie were so amazingly helpful and flexible. We have never owned a pool so didn't know where to begin as far as maintenance, etc. They came over the very first weekend we moved in on very short notice and answered all of our questions, did an inspection and opened our pool. They are also very reasonably priced. We couldn't be happier!
Mike built a custom cedar fence and arbor to train wisteria on for me. He suggested several nice features that fit extremely well with a difficult space. The work was completed quickly, in less than three days, and the final product looks outstanding!
Jonathan from FallingWater Scapes is extremely knowledgeable about ponds and water features. He cleaned my pond which was nearly a disaster and we are currently working on many improvements. I saw some of his work (which was stunning) and am very excited to continue to work with him. Susan

i hired Brian in 2004 to help with repairs during hurricane Jeanne. He worked around the clock repairing the roof, replacing windows and finish work, water damaged walls, sanding and re-finishing the hardwood floor and much more. He is a hard worker with a thing for details. Thank you Brian. Ed 321-794-1500 in Palm Bay, Florida
Taught us the meaning of “neatening”, pruning, and featuring plants in our garden design. He removed plants which were crowding the design. We used leaf mold mulch. You will need to order twice as much, as it decomposes into soil rather quickly.
Deb helped us design and implement a newly constructed landscape area at our B&B. She listened to our ideas, offered her own great suggestions, and recommended plants and flowers that she knew would grow in our area, taking into consideration wind, water availability, and sun exposure. We are very happy with the results. It has been 5 years since we implemented her suggestions and the garden area gets better and better each year.
Bill Jones & Sons Lawn Care & Landscaping exceeded my expectations. The quality of their work was outstanding and the project came out better than I hoped. The communication with this company during the project was excellent. From first contact thru the completion of the project, Darren Jones kept us fully informed at every step. At the start, Darren recommended several options and the pros/cons of each. He even sent me product information so I could make an informed decision. All of this timely communications gave us confidence that the project would result in the irrigation system we wanted. Darren and this crew showed up on-time, worked diligently the whole day, and then cleaned-up/organized their tools and supplies before knocking off for the day. They even overcame 2 rain-days and a number of additional misty/damp days to finish the project. Darren planed the project and executed well, even planning in the under-ground irrigation system conduit before installing the patio over the water source, avoiding any re-work or schedule delay. That’s planning ahead! Darren even rescheduled some of the work around a family event we had planned. This showed great flexibility to get the job done and balance it with the needs of the homeowner. When the project was done, Jones & Sons cleaned up everything and reseeded all disturbed areas. In addition to the outstanding work Jones did, we were equally impressed by the professionalism, politeness, and respectfulness of Darren and his whole crew. Having trust and confidence in your contractor is as important on a major project like this as is the quality of their work. In this case, both were of the utmost quality. The workmanship of Jones & Sons is evident in the overall quality and attention to details. In addition to the patio/walkway, we know the irrigation system will allow the lawn to become as beautiful as the patios/walkway Jones & Sons installed. Bill Jones & Sons Lawn Care & Landscaping brought the irrigation project in on-time and UNDER-budget! And we are very happy with the final results I highly recommend Bill Jones & Sons Lawn Care & Landscaping for anyone’s needs, and we will definitely work with them again when we do lawn and landscaping work in the future.
I needed some cracked ceramic floor tiles replaced due to water damage. Alan looked at the job and quoted a fair price for the repairs. He had to remove some tiles and replace a portion of the damaged sub-floor. He did an outstanding job. His carpentry and tile skills are the best! Alan even took extra time to match the tile grout. After he completed the work you can't tell what was damaged and replaced. The floor looks brand new again. Alan is a top-notch craftsman. He is in my speed dial for any projects that come along. 5 stars *****.
We hired Jon to help us troubleshoot a leaky shower and fix it. We were really in a jam the week prior to and the week of Christmas. Jon was extremely flexible and came right over to assess the situation. He spent a long period of time diagnosing the problem and was very knowledgable with regards to different ways to fix the problem. Overall he was very thorough. He then came back the week of christmas (on Christmas Day) while we were out of town to start working so we would have our shower back by the time we got home from the holiday. His work is excellent. He fixed our issue and for a very reasonable price. He also helped fix a portion of the floor that had gotten water stained from the leak just because...a very pleasant bonus! We plan to work with Jon in the future on a much bigger project and would definitely recommend him!!
I had a flood in a second floor kitchen of a two family home. The tenant lives on the 1st floor and suffered a ceiling collapse and water damage to the kitchen floor. Yikes!! Wait there's more! This could and should've been a not so challenging repair until my town building inspector showed up for lack of permits on the behalf of the demo company. Long story short my 100 + yr old home now had to be upgraded before being re-inspected. I hired John as my General Contractor and in addition to providing a great plumber and plasterers he himself is a carpentry magician and made magic out of bad and unforseen challenges like old knob and tubing and corrective framing and other issues. It was due to his vast wisdom and experience that I was able to get through this nightmare without spending a kings ransom and still retain quality and inspection satisfactory work. He's seen alot so he knew how to problem solve and work miracles.
I've had Ramon maintain my lawn and do some plantings and hardscape at my house. He does a great job and is very thoughtful about everything he does. He takes the "organic" part of his business very seriously and my lawn has never looked better. I don't have a sprinkler system and I don't like to water my lawn but it still looks great. Ramon only mows when necessary and is very conscientious about keeping his costs down and sticks to the quote he gives you. I've found that he gives good value for the services he provides.
I had a water leak due to ICE DAMS. I called Ken and he stopped by a couple days later. He checked out the cause of the of the problem, removed the ice dams then removed and replaced damaged sheet rock. He was on time and within his quoted price.
