- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are negotiable but I generally just charge by the hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a phonecall about your needs, exchange signed agreements, and I put everything in order. We schedule regular check-ins according the volume of transactions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I read the newsletters from the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, and academic journals. I have written papers on Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd Frank, and other relevant topics. I also am working on projects with leaders in finance reform and am reading up on and promoting sustainability accounting.
