Introduction: I have been practicing massage full time for 10 years and part time since 2002 when I graduated from the Polarity Realization Institute in Westboro, MA. I also studied massage and exchanged with a number of professionals and non-professionals at the Easton Mountain Retreat center in New York State, where they do a number of bodywork, yoga, and other classes. I really love giving massage. I consistently get positive feedback, and I am open to changing style, technique, or pressure to fit the individual needs of those I work on. People tell me I am friendly and easy to talk to. I genuinely want to make people feel good. If you would like detailed information you can call or text me anytime, or you can also view my website. I may be able to offer discounts for the first visit, and for recurring visits. I enjoy working one on one, and being able to help others relax and get relief from stress and pain. I also love being able to work with others in coordination with their fitness goals, or their goals to achieve greater well-being. Massage does not have to be painful, it can be enjoyable and even blissful. And if any pain is experienced, it should be as some might call it, a "good pain", meaning that the initial pressure and discomfort yields to relief and perhaps even enjoyable sensation as endorphins are released.

Massage Therapy

Paul’s combination of knowledge and passion for massage therapy is only surpassed by his attention to details and calm personality. He brings a holistic approach to his practice which encompasses treating the whole person as he teaches his clients how to lead a healthy life. I highly recommend his services to everyone.

Massage Therapy

Paul is an expert at his craft. He was able to get the stiffness out of neck and shoulders. I feel great; I feel balanced and in tuned with my psyche. I strongly encourage everyone to experience his deep tissue massage. I left feeling relaxed and loose.

Massage Therapy

Paul was very quick to respond to text questions and worked with me to find a time good for both of us. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever received and he loosened areas of tension I didn’t know I had. He was also very respectful and mindful of my needs.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I am only able to offer travel services to you at this time. Will need a clean space large enough to set up the massage table and be able to walk around it. $80 for an hour or 120 for 90 minutes, an additional discount may be available depending on the travel distance. I hope to have a new space to practice from soon and will update here when I do.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will do a brief intake to assess whether there are any injuries, surgeries, allergies, or other information relevant to receiving a massage. This usually doesn't take more than a couple minutes, unless there is extensive history. I then show the client how to position themselves on the massage table, and leave the room to allow them to disrobe to their level of comfort and get on the table. I then ask if they are ready before entering, and enter if they are. Typically I spend half the alloted time working while the client is prone (facedown) , and half while supine (face up), unless otherwise asked to work differently by the client.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

615 hour massage course at the Polarity Realization Institute (now called the SpaTech Insititute) which included anatomy and physiology, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Neuromuscular, Range of Motion, Stretching, and other classes. I also studied in New York informally with a number of massage therapists and learned Esalen, Thai Massage, Lomi Lomi, Body Electric, and others techniques. Other classes include Yoga that included passive and active stretching, Polarity Therapy (form of energy work), Reiki (level 2), and other energy healing modalities.
