Wayne was very prompt responding to our roofing repair and his price was very fair. However, the day of the scheduled repair he failed to show and when we called him, he said he would be there first thing the following morning which was 10:15 am. So far our roof has not leaked and he seemed very knowledgable about his work and was very friendly. He did not offer a written guarantee on his work and we have asked him a few times for a receipt and he has failed to provide us with one.
Sam was great! My TV looks really nice mounted on my wall; plus he repaired some nitpicking things around the house like my doorbell, front door, cabinets, closet door...that needed repairing since I purchase the house. He is an all-around maintenance and handy man. He will be my go-to-guy from now on.
Very professional and the repair of the wall was done timely
Cliff did great job at repairing our fence. He was responsive. Work was professional. Thanks.
A repair of stone wall. Great job I would recommend this professionals y time
I would give Fernando a 10 star if it were available. He came when he said he would and completed the work in a timely and beautiful manner. Our house needed repairs to the brick on the front and he used his amazing skills to match the brick and mortar to the existing. He even made a couple of small additional repairs that we had not seen originally. He is extremely polite and courteous. Removed all debris and cleaned everything before leaving. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate one second to bring him back.
I hired JL Masonry to repair the front stairs of my house. Jon was prompt, professional and neat. He replaced one of the limestone treads and the bluestone on the landing. He also repointed some of the brick and repaired the walkway at no extra charge! I would definitely recommend him for your next masonry job.
I needed what I thought was minor repairs to a concrete patio. I liked Sal immediately. He's a laid back, friendly guy. I had interviewed several other people and this was the first time that no alarm bells went off and the price was right. There were a couple of unexpected issues and he handled it well. There was more damage than what was first thought. He included me in on everything and I never felt like he didn't want me involved (you know how some contractors secretly wish the homeowner would go away - especially if it's a woman). I felt safe in his hands and did not feel he would "screw me over" so to speak. What I like about Sal the most is that he's an artist and truly cares about his finished product. Sal was not only accommodating but also recommended what might look best. Overall, Sal's a quality guy, running a quality business. I would recommend him in a heartbeat and would be a reference for him.
Dom did a great job on repairing my concrete sidewalk, it looks brand new! He gave me a competitive quote and stuck by all agreed upon time lines. I will most certainly be asking Dom to do projects in the future
Irfan was very professional and the quality of his work was excellent. My foundation was failing and needed to be repaired. He offered several different options to help keep the price down. He was finished sooner than promised. I would highly recommend him to everyone.
Derek did everything right. He's very personable and easy to work with, and he and his helper did a really nice job on the stucco. And the cleanup afterward - I don't think I've ever had a contractor who was so conscientious about cleaning up! Hope I need some more masonry work done sometime, so I can call on Derek again. :)
I have used Rhett several times over the past few years. He did a ceiling at my home, great job and very neat. I also had him do some stucco work at my business and was very pleased with his work, he is very personable and proffesional. Highly recommend using Rhetts plastering if you want great work.
I am glad to report on my experience. The work is complete, and done well. But as a client who outsources many services, I would like to talk about the full experience, as that is of high value to me. Robinson responded to my request for a bid. They made an appointment to see the project - and they showed up. They explained the scope of work (repairing cracks, holes, replacing bricks, repointing, finding water sources and preventing them), and we went through options for repairs. They projected costs. They scheduled the work, they showed up. They came back until it was complete, without skipping out to other projects. They helped with a few elements that went beyond their scope of work (replacing a door for instance). They were informative, communicative, and clear. They were efficient. They did not swear, they were respectful. They cleaned up after they were done. They were what clients should expect, and should be delivered, however they are not the norm in today's environment. I appreciate the full experience, and I hope that this message can encourage more clients to book work with them.
Paul performed a myriad of small to medium repair jobs for me in the spring and summer. From tricky electrical work, repairing a bathroom ceiling beautifully and in a cost-effective way, getting my doorbell working again well and at minimum cost, to putting ACs in, and painting, Paul worked efficiently, carefully, and creatively. I found Paul to be an excellent communicator, a great problem solver, doing his work efficiently and creatively. He was open to suggestions, and did his work always being in great spirits. I know it's a cliche, but indeed no job was too big or too small for Paul. I've had handymen before, but Paul stands out for his skills, efficiency, creativity, communication, dependability, and great attitude. I've already begun making a list for fall projects for Paul: taking out and storing ACs, hanging new shades, and opening some large lateral file cabinets of which I lost the keys, and more to come. I also have recommended Paul to a friend in the area.
Matt has done lots of jobs in my house from basement pumps to decks, new roof, he is not only very qualify for the jobs but also honest and with reasonable price. He is the man that I'll always call when I need either repairs or renovations, I have been his costumer for about 10 years
