Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Personal touch in a fully equipped home studio with tethered shooting so you can see the shots immediately! On a big screen so you know what you want right away, not in post production.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have been a cardiologist for over 25 years in NY specializing in imaging of the heart and women. I have switched to my creative side completing a masterÂs degree in digital photography at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. I have been a part time resident on Cape Ann for the past 20 years, finally moving to Gloucester full time in 2010. I have won numerous awards, serve on the board of the Copley Society of art in Boston and am the Artistic Director of the Rocky Neck Art Colony. My main focus is on fine art photography including fine art portraits, flowers, the fine art mature female nude, landscapes, seascapes and Africa.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Like to be involved in projects such as Portraits of the Artists in the Rocky Neck Art Colony. Enjoy teaching digital photography including creative digital photography, the digital darkroom, fine art printing, preparing for a photo safari or African photo safari. Frequently travel to Africa and other locations. Fine Art is what I do.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Where can my art be seen locally:
Copley Society of art on Newbury Street Boston, State of the Art Gallery II in Gloucester, MA, local art shows and my studio.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. Love creating a specific look depending on the need.
