About
I’m an award winning, multiple billboard charting musician who unlearned bad methodology then relearned how music really works, and I’m here to pass that knowledge on to anyone and everyone who wants to learn, at any level!
If you’ve ever heard the phrase “you either have it or you don’t” but didn’t know what “it” is, then you’re in luck. I have over a decade of experience teaching and performing, and not only do I know exactly what “it” is, but I know how to teach it. If you’ve tried learning on your own but didn’t know how to start, made some progress but felt like you were missing something crucial, or if you’ve done everything that previous teachers told you but felt like you weren’t experiencing real self expression, then I’m the teacher you’ve been looking for

I've been playing guitar off and on for roughly 25 years, but never made it past that initial plateau between being able to play a song and actually be able to play along with people. Patrick has been able to fairly easily pinpoint my weaknesses, but also help me rewire my brain to think differently to correct them. Patrick's way of teaching focuses on solidifying your foundation and the way your brain thinks musically, over just trying to get you to memorize theory and concepts. Music is something natural to people, and Patrick wants you to focus on the natural feeling of music and not necessarily overthink the rules. I and others have noticed a significant improvement with my playing in just the few months I've been working with Patrick. Patrick has also been incredibly accommodating and been willing to come to me and adjust to my schedule without issue which I really appreciate. If you're a new player, or that self conscious self taught player that has never figured out what they were missing, Patrick is absolutely the teacher for you.

Pat is a great teacher who is able to identify what gaps I have in my knowledge, and he customizes the lessons and exercises to my needs. He has helped me with everything from chords to theory to songwriting to ear training. He’s been helpful, honest, and on time. Will be going back to him in the future.

Wasn’t happy with my first guitar instructor and found Pat on Thumbtack. After reading his profile and hearing his cd, i was sold. He doesn’t just look like a rock star, he really is one. My lessons are fun and Pat has a clear direction for your learning process. Im confident he will get me to become the player I always wanted to be.

I am finally learning how to play my guitar thanks to Pat and his methods of teaching. I had in the past tried you tube lessons, chord buddy and various “Learn To Play Guitar” books which had left me frustrated. Pat is an excellent teacher and musician. He has his own band, which by the way, recently released their own album and are on tour. What better way than to learn from an accomplished musician that teaches methods of learning the guitar that makes it easy to understand without all the frustration. I would definitely recommend Pat. You won’t regret it

I really recommend Patrick to whoever likes to learn about Guitar.
He's very punctual and cares about his quality of work. he's been adding more interest to my eight-year-old son to learn about Guitar. He's a real professional guitar instructor and knows how to motivate a child to play guitar and he can even improve his hidden talents about the guitar. We are very pleased with Patrick's grateful, passionate, and dedicated way of teaching guitar to my son.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My information and methods offer a permanent change in your ear's ability and wiring in your brain. Instead of paying endlessly to be dependent on a teacher, I'm offering you the skills of independent learning
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask questions to gauge experience and skill and use a couple listening tests to establish a game plan. I have the same goals for every student but each individual does need a specific approach for their strengths and weaknesses
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After my bachelor in music, I was trained by one of the best jazz guitarists in the world. I also have over 10 years of teaching experience, and over 10 years of professional playing where I put my methods to use in the real world
