Introduction: I have spent the past eighteen years as an educator in Boston- ten years as a teacher and eight years as a professional development coach and administrator. During this time I have tutored, math, science, and SAT math. I have also tutored individuals preparing for the GRE. As a student I was always good at math and science but I enjoy working with students who have yet to find their love of STEM just as much as working with those who do well. I enjoy looking for different ways to approach the same content until we figure out a method that works for them!

I asked Brandon on relatively short notice to help tutor my daughter for her math SAT's. He was responsive, as he answered quickly. He seemed able to do an assessment of her needs, and address his teaching accordingly. We called with relatively little time before the test, but he helped her use some helpful strategies. And her SAT's improved as well. If she were to take the SAT's again (I think we are done with that part, thankfully), I would definitely ask him to work with her again, and I would definitely recommend him.

Brandon has been working with my son on his Chemistry and Algebra 2 throughout the fall/winter and I really can’t recommend him highly enough. My son’s content knowledge and confidence has improved dramatically over the year and he looks forward to their weekly sessions. Brandon always follows up with a quick overview of what they worked on so I feel in the loop with how my son is progressing. Best spent money all year!
