About
Welcome,
I own and operate a small architectural millwork shopout of one of Lowell's beautiful historic mills.
Our focus is to create harmony, smooth transitions, and to elevate your space.
There are elements in building such as wood selection, hardware, joinery, scale, and proportion that require tremendous effort and attention to guarantee quality and longevity. These considerations are critical and often overlooked.
We prioritize effort to not contribute to a poor, unsafe, waste producing practice. We only work with lumber mills that are certified sustainable, responsible harvesters and finish our products with low to zero V.O.C. free finishes and paints.
Our specialties include:
- Historic millwork and cabinetry
- Architectural Woodworking
- Furniture & Furniture repair
Fully insured and certified.
If you've made it this far, I appreciate your valuable time and consideration to trust us with your job.

My husband and I asked Kevin to build a bench for our wedding to use as a guest book. Kevin did a fantastic job at not only building the bench but also providing a fair price. He was open to our ideas but also used his expertise to provide suggestions that in the end resulted in a beautiful bench that our guests enjoyed signing and we will have as a memory to cherish forever. We would highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a quality piece to add to their home, office, or anywhere else you can show off his great craftsmanship.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing is mass produced for starts, so the nature of custom furniture negates general universal pricing. There are so many subtle idiosyncrasies and changes that make each peice entirely unique. Final cost comes down to type of wood, finish, size, ornamentation etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With any potential client, the initial meeting is the "napkin sketch" stage, where it is a brief meeting on ideas and interests, concerns and basic design. I like to get a feel for the clients personality and hear their expectations for me and the project. Depending on the work being done, the time in between the first and second meeting is usually spent drafting or drawing the project. During the second meeting, time is spent reviewing the plans, confirming schedule, discussing payment and getting excited for what is to be done. After a contractual agreement, work can begin. Sometimes, I get a very vague description of what a customer wants and the trust to be creative enough to surprise them with something great.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
New England School Of Architectural Woodworking, North Bennett Street Scool, U.S. Navy
