GHI completely restored our kitchen and bathroom cabinets, installed pendant lights, and repainted woodwork. From the beginning, Nilso was affable and professional, responding to our interests and offering many ideas. He and his crew were reliably on time every day and never missed a day until the project was complete. They were very courteous and trustworthy. Nilso has an eye for detail and is a problem solver, and all work is the highest quality. The cabinet restoration was beyond our expectations, more beautiful and functional than when first installed 30 years ago. It was a pleasure to work with Nilso, and we will be hiring GHI for future jobs.

Nilso and his crew did work that exceeded our expectations! They went above and beyond, fixing things as they came up in order to complete the job to the highest standards. Work was done quickly and communication was great throughout. Would definitely recommend and rehire!

Nilso is excellent -- 10/10 would recommend. Nilso took a remodeling project in condo that has not been renovated since 1990s. Many contractors came through our place and all of them wanted to do gut renovations. Nilso came and listened to what we were hoping to do and came up with a plan that was much more reasonable than all the contractors that we had spoken with. He helped us update two bathroom with new tiles, vanity, and other hardware, updated the kitchen with new cabinet fronts, hardware, a beautiful butcher block countertop, sink, backsplash. He also handled a lot of patching, painting, fixing closets, old doors, etc. It was a tough project in an old building with lots of neighbors, and Nilso handled everything very very well. I also like that Nilso is very honest about what he can / cannot do and often suggested better alternatives. For example, originally, we were thinking of retiling the kitchen floor and Nilso would have done the work, but Nilso recommended that we do hardwood to keep up with rest of the apartment and recommended that we make our flooring guy handle the kitchen too, even though it would reduce Nilso's scope of work. Highly recommend Nilso and I look forward to working with Nilso again.

My kitchen was very old, and Nilso and the GHI team were able to work with my aging kitchen to create a beautiful, aesthetic, and functional space. Nilso and the GHI Fine Painting & Woodworking crew created magic as they renovated my old kitchen. From the start, Nilso listened attentively to my goals and respected my budget. He clearly had a vision for the kitchen, and the GHI team executed the vision through diligent and meticulous hard work. They refurbished the body of my cabinets by cleaning them thoroughly several times to remove grease build up. They also repaired a damaged cabinet as well as built and painted new beautiful cabinet doors. As conscientious contractors, they neatly painted the inside of all the cabinets. They added a simple and sophisticated mold to the top of the cabinets that lifts the entire aura of the kitchen. When they noticed the board of the bottom cabinet was damaged, they installed a new solid board. They also installed new floors even in the small kitchen closet. They painted the walls and ceiling and even added extra touches: sanding and painting the heater board and a small half wall at the entrance of the kitchen. I would like to add that Nilso took the time to shop with me for the materials such as the backsplash tiles and floor vinyl. During the shopping, he clearly explained the function, quality, and durability of each material purchased. In addition, he referred me to an efficient and reliable company to replace my counter and sink. Last but not least, GHI was respectful of my home space and cleaned up and disposed of all discarded items. They even took the time to vacuum the hallway space of my building. I would like to thank GHI for their attention to the kitchen and their hard daily work.
