Introduction: As a clinical nutritionist and holistic health coach, I work extensively with each client to find what works best for your body, health condition and lifestyle. There is no one right diet or treatment approach that works for everyone all of the time. Following the principles of bio-individuality, I take the time to get to know you, your habits around food and your lifestyle choices. The time I spend on assessment and evaluation allows me to design a custom wellness and nutrition plan which is tailored to your individual constitution and unique circumstances.
I am also trained in Ayurveda & Ayurvedic nutrition. Ayurveda is India’s 5,000 year old traditional system of medicine which translated from Sanskrit means “Science of Life” (“Ayu” means life and “Veda” is knowledge, or science).
Ayurveda teaches that everything is good for someone and nothing is good for everyone, which makes us look closely at our individual body and lifestyle in order to understand what makes us truly healthy and happy.
Ayurveda places great emphasis on prevention and encourages the maintenance of health through creating balance in one’s diet, thinking, and overall lifestyle. It encourages you to live in harmony with Nature’s cycles and with the cycles of your own body. Only from this place of self-awareness and love, you can begin to create positive, long-lasting changes that will transform your life.
I strongly believe that you are what you eat and your commitment to improving your diet is the first and most important step to getting you in shape, body, mind and spirit. What I enjoy most about my work is helping people transform not only their body and physiology but also the quality of their life and the way they look at food.
