Hired on Thumbtack
Stone & Compass is not a reputable firm. I paid them 1/3 of the job up front on the day I signed a contract in August, and they did not perform. I cancelled the job after a six week time period of inaction, and they have not refunded me my down payment of $8,000, which I gave them 30 days to pay me back. I am pursuing legal action. They should be barred from this and every contractor site.
