FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There's nothing complicated at all about my pricing, but it's not a one price model either. Once I have the details of your needs, I won't hesitate to give you an all-inclusive, no haggle price. I encourage customers to visit my website to get a general overview of my range of pricing for different types of events. I am also offering special rates exclusively for Thumbtack users.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I worked with a couple that had decided they didn't want a DJ because they had a smallish guest list (about 60) and held the wedding in a summer rental. They envisioned more of a cocktail party setting -- which is exactly what the couple told me to expect since they didn't think of their family and friends as "dancers". Except that everyone had a spectacular time and danced just about the whole night. The bride had what I could only describe as a look of disbelief at the end of the night. It was very satisfying.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask a lot of questions, even if you don't think they are relevant. It's as likely as not that you've never hired a DJ before and don't know WHAT to ask. That's okay and it's normal. I'm happy to answer anything a prospective customer would like to know about the job.
