FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education for myself and my staff is an important part of staying at the top of our game. Right now we have six staff members who have completed the NOFA (Northeast Organic Farming Association) certification course. In order to maintain our certification we must take classes every year to keep up with all the newest developments in organic land care.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
At the Nursery we help a large portion of our customers take pride in their lawns and garden beds. We can help you find the perfect foundation plants to liven up your home as well as bring an abundance of summer color with a large variety annuals and perennials. Also, due the seasonality of our work we spend most of our time in the fall delivering our Thayer Nursery Kiln-Dried Firewood. For our Landscape customers, common jobs include landscape installation (trees, shrubs, & lawns) and stonework (patios & walls). In fact, we were voted "Best in Milton" for lawn installation in 2009!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Come down to the Nursery and see our work for yourself. We take pride in our work and value our good reputation within the community.
