Stone Haven Photography

I'm not a wedding photographer, not traditionally anyway. I traditionally do political events/cityscapes. I think that give me a unique approach to other types of photography. I use landscapes as "props" and don't believe in "staging a moment". I'm political photography, capturing the passion of the speaker, and how the audience receives a message is key. I think that capturing emotions, whether it's a groom first seeing his bride, or the aunt that doesn't come out much genuinely laughing is just as important as traditional shots I think that my view transcends into all types of photography I recently photographed two sisters, and some of the best shots were the ones where the youngest was frowning holding her "lambs". In street photography, details make up the bigger picture and I think that also sets me apart. I I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and sharing them through my work! I also love the flexibility my job gives me.
