- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge based on the difficulty of the subject matter and on how many hours I tutor the student during the week. Some of my students I tutor 3 times per week, two hours a session and provide a great discount. These students are high achievers and had high SAT scores which I also teach.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the student to evaluate what areas are needed for assistance. I typically advance their knowledge beyond their classmates. For example, I've tutored two students for 3 years now who are in 9th grade and they are halfway through AP Calculus.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked successfully as a Senior Scientist at MIT and Senior Principle Systems Engineer at Raytheon for 40 years until my retirement.
