Consultation via phone or email correspondence to create the perfect catering package. Issue a follow up survey after the event to maintain customer satisfaction and identify any potential areas of improvement.

I personally started by catering friends' events myself. I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years in management, service and culinary positions.
