Fernando at Andrade Plastering is a very honest and hard working professional. I had a medium to large size job in a 3 bedroom 6 room unit in a philly style two family house in Somerville. Fernando replaced the ceilings with Blue board/plaster and patch/plastered the old lath/plastered walls. I had multiple delays on my project which caused me to postpone the plastering multiple times over 2 months. Fernando was very accommodating and was available start the job within 2 days once we were ready. There were approximately 50 sheets of blue board delivered by truck/crane into the second floor without any damage to the property. Fernando and his crew hung the blue board in 2 days and finished the plastering in 4 more days over 1.5 weeks. All of the wall and ceilings look perfect. The building inspector noticed that Fernando used only 4 screws across per sheet on the ceilings, but Fernando corrected the mistake quickly.

We are very happy with the work performed by Andrade Plastering. In was a tricky job, skim coating over old patterned ceilings that were recently water damaged and repaired. Fernando also did a great job of working around all of our furniture. Now everything looks perfectly smooth and new.

Fernando gave me an quick estimate that seemed fair and was only $100. short of what he decided to charge for the job. He didn't ask for money upfront; he just did the job efficiently and moved on. He is a man of few words, he came in on schedule with one other man, they worked their butts off and finished a tall large stairwell in two days. He is neat, courteous, and does magnificent work cutting and placing dry wall and then plastering. I have had some sloppy jobs done by others and many less reliable. His work and that of his plasterer looks fabulous. Corners are tight, the plastering is smooth, just about perfect. I would definitely hire him again for any other such job.

We had some lath and plaster walls that were deteriorating pretty badly. I contacted Fernando and he promptly came by and gave us a pretty good estimate for the job. He and his assistant lined all the walls with blueboard and applied the plaster finish. The walls are amazing. They worked without rest for the day tat they were there and did a great job and would definitely use them again!

Fernando and his assistant skim coated the ceilings of 7 rooms and 2 hallways that had a textured finish on them. They did a fantastic job! Our ceilings are perfectly smooth now. The price was very reasonable. We're very happy with the results and would definitely hire them again.
