I am a retired general contractor that used to own a construction company that built large custom homes on Cape Cod. Approximately 13 years ago I moved to Florida and when it came time to do a total renovation on a house in the Boston area, for my daughter and her family, I soon found out that unfortunately all of my old contacts had also retired or were no longer available, so I took a chance, looked for some quotes on Thumbtack and a couple of other sites and got a number of responses. One of those that responded was Fernando Teixeira of Andrade Plastering. I had Fernando come take a look at the project, spoke with him about what I expected and took a chance and gave him the job. I can honestly say that it was one of the most pleasant surprises that I have had while doing this project. Fernando turned out to be friendly, knowledgeable, honest and I would put his work up against any other plasters that I have used in the past and that even includes those that I used on houses that I have done worth millions of dollars. He was on time, on budget, very easy to work with and a pleasure to do business with. Do yourself a favor and give Fernando an opportunity to do a job for you, you will not be disappointed!

We are very happy with the work performed by Andrade Plastering. In was a tricky job, skim coating over old patterned ceilings that were recently water damaged and repaired. Fernando also did a great job of working around all of our furniture. Now everything looks perfectly smooth and new.

Fernando and his assistant did a complicated ceiling job in my basement. Every part of the job exceeded expectations. It was left clean and the work is beautiful. Highly recommended.

The price is about the size of the job, and or how many sheets for hang and plaster. And if the costumer want me to buy the materials, depend but sometimes.
