====================================
At eight years old, I had already lived in three countries, a reality that shaped my perspective and fueled my artistic drive. As a displaced war refuge in the 1990’s, I learned to embrace the unexpected early on in life. In order to find a place that felt familiar, I had to constantly create that place. Through all of the relocating, I developed an appreciation for different cultures, art, and travel.
This curiosity presented itself through different artistic expressions throughout my life.
My first attempt at art was through drawing, which eventually placed me in multiple art galleries. Those childhood times that I got lost in the rhythm of unique cultural instruments planted seeds of musical exploration in the form of DJing at a bar later on in life. Traveling frequently exposed me to an infinite amount of intricate buildings, my curiosity turned that into an architectural degree. Storytelling was always a part of me, but photography felt like the most natural way to express those narratives visually, to share them with the world in a way that transcended language and cultural barriers.
Through my own experiences, I realize that what makes us different doesn’t divide us - it creates bridges between us. Art itself becomes one of these bridges, connecting our diverse stories in unexpected ways. My photography aims to tell these stories- between people, art, and our surroundings - a perspective born from my own journey across experiences and cultures.
