DJ Real One

Introduction: Specializing in dance clubs and private events, DJ Real One brings his mix of top 40, remixes, mash-ups, and urban music to Boston and the Boston-metro area. No matter the size, location or needs, DJ Real One is the DJ you will thank without breaking the bank. I have more than 20 years of experience. I started very young when one of my friends' father bought him DJ equipment for his birthday. I have been doing it ever since. From house parties and corporate events to the biggest clubs in the city, I have been the audio ambassador for everyone in attendance. I have been collecting digital audio for the last 12 years. Currently, I have about 1.5TB (approximately 300,000 songs) of music. I have many songs that are difficult to find, and many remixes that were originally pressed on vinyl only. I am constantly adding the latest music to my repertoire. I currently use Serato Scratch Live version 2.3. I have been using Serato for about 5 years now. I also use Technics 1200 turntables, and a Vestax mixer. I have used CDJs and Denon CD players, but I prefer using vinyl and the Technics turntables. Criteria that make me better than my competition: * I have more experience. * I have more music and more variety then any other DJs. * I am inexpensive compared to other entertainment options. * I produce my original remixes, blends, and mash-ups. * I focus on the music by not using the microphone as a crutch.
