Goals

Introduction: My background as both an athletic trainer and personal trainer/strength and conditioning coach sets me apart from most personal trainers. As an AT and S&C coach, I worked in collegiate athletics for over 20 years, and my focus was on injury prevention, rehabilitation, evaluation, and strength training. This allows me to look at clients from different perspective and focus on training/exercises that will not only strengthen, but also help with injury prevention and performance. As a practicing athletic trainer, I also have a great deal of experience with manual therapy. I am a Graston Technique provider, and also have extensive experience with deep tissue work, sports massage, and trigger point therapy. For those clients that need it, I perform soft tissue work in addition to training. My goal with tissue work is two-fold: relieve tension within muscles/fascia and improve performance. In order to train and move correctly, the tissue must be addressed. I enjoy helping people engage in a healthy lifestyle. I find it extremely rewarding to work with people who are new to training and see them evolve into a healthy lifestyle. I also enjoy working with clients who are experienced and are looking for an extra "push" or just a change in their workouts. I also enjoy working with clients who are suffering from injuries or movement dysfunction. I find it extremely rewarding to help people alleviate their pain and resume normal movement and function.

Ron is fantastic! He customizes every workout to fit your strength and ability level. His workouts are tough but achievable. I never feel as though I can't complete a session. Ron is very focused on form and safety which is great.
