I have been a Murphy fuel for two and a half years. In my time as a customer I have had nothing but great experiences with Murphy fuel.
As a new customer, the company sent a technician to tune up my furnace and advise my on the condition of my furnace and water heater. In the two tune up appointments I have had, the technician was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
My oil is refilled regularly and I almost never notice when they come to fill my tank. Payment is processed automatically and I receive a receipt for each fill in my mailbox.
I have a great experience as a customer and appreciate Murphy fuel’s expertise and professionalism.

After discussing options with them, Murphy Fuel installed a beautiful new indirect water heater for us. It was installed and up and running in a day, and they took the time to explain how the heater works in tandem with our furnace, which we appreciated. Really friendly and knowledgeable technicians. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a fair price to all customers which includes the cost of equipment, parts, and the labor needed for the installation. All costs will be included in your estimate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Murphy Fuel offers free estimates for water heater installations or replacements. Once we receive your request, we'll call or visit your location to discuss your needs and preferences, discuss options and provide a recommendation. We'll provide a free written estimate for any options you'd like quoted. If accepted, we'll schedule a time to do the job and get it done!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our technicians have their oil burner license, EPA certification, experience installing full heating systems, water heaters & air conditioning, and receive continuous training including manufacturer training for certain equipment.
