Hello students and parents! I am a scientist and have been tutoring for over 10 years, specializing in general chemistry, organic chemistry, algebra 1 and 2, PSAT/SAT prep, middle school math, and study/organizational skills. I hold an MS in chemical engineering from Columbia University in 2019 and a BS in Neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin. I match my tutoring style to the student's goals, current level, personality, and learning style. Everyone learns differently, and has different strengths and struggles, but my goal is always to deepen understanding and build confidence. I am very patient, and have worked with a wide range of students in a number of difficult subjects. As a student I enjoyed developing my own study and organizational skills, so now it is rewarding for me to pass along this knowledge and keep those skills sharp.
