I hired Stephen last summer to install a screen door on the front door of the house. The door was not designed to have a screen door, so he had to design a frame build out to accommodate the screen door and handle the stress of the door opening and closing. He did a great design, made the build out look like part of the original door frame, and installed the door. Terrific job and a great person to work with. I'm already building out my list of other jobs I need done on the house and will definitely be calling Stephen to get them done.

My Project was to install 80 L/F of stockade fence. Jonathan, from Merigan's Backyard Innovations was very professional from beginning to end. from the day he came to price the project. I told him what I was looking for. Jonathan gave me a full material list I had the material on site the next day, and Merigan's had my fence up by the end of the day. I highly recommend Merigan's for your next backyard project.

I asked Sam to help in building a lego/crafting desk in the basement for our family. He happily took on the project and did an outstanding job in not only building the desk but providing great feedback and changes to the design that helped create the beautiful and stable desk we have now. He also installed a new drop light and electrical outlet in the same room for us that came out great. I would highly recommend him for any project. He is honest and very trustworthy with his work and a great communicator.

I highly recommend Obed and his crew. He shows up as early as 7 AM in the morning and tries to get the job done way before the deadline. I installed Vinyl Fence and the work quality is great. The crew were highly professional. Generally with other such projects, the crew treats you badly and does not pay attention to the details. However, GMP had a wonderful crew who were respectful to my views and considered all my concerns regarding the project. I got good comments from my neighbors regarding the fence.

Very good communicator, very quick installation and turn around time overall, and an EXCELLENT price. There were a few material choices I would have made differently had he given me some pros and cons of each (I would have opted for a higher quality vinyl in places), but given the awesome speed and low cost I am extremely happy with my new fence, and so is our new puppy.

I can't say enough about Dan Hanna of Pro Cut & Clean Landscaping. I am so happy with the repairs that Dan's company did and now my fence looks like new. After getting two quotes for replacing my fencing, I looked into repairing it instead. Dan came by the same day that we made contact through Thumbtack, proposed what he would do to restore my fence, and estimated what it would cost. Well, they did the work yesterday in one day, and today had it power washed and now my fence looks beautiful, really like new at one-seventh the cost of a new fence. My thanks to Dan and his very professional team. Katherine of Burlington, MA

Matt did an outstanding job. Came in as lowest bid on the wall demolition for new fireplace install, came next day after posting project, called ahead, did job quickly, removed debris and cleaned up after. A messy job I would not want to do myself, he was friendly and conscientious. I would definitely hire him again

They did a great job cleaning up a mess of dirt and rocks along our sidewalk strip that was left behind after a retaining wall project. They also spread new loam, raked even, and spread grass seed. Very happy with the end result and reasonable price for the job. Would hire again.

I am a tenant in Worcester in a triple decker. I live on ground floor and have fenced in yard with a dog who loves that sort of thing. Call me spoiled but I got used to that. In the recent high-wind weather, a large 20' section of fence blew over. I discovered the posts were never cemented. Much to my dismay, the landlords did not want to fix the fence. In addition to having a dog I now had to leash walk everywhere, the yard was open to theft where I have a fire pit, grill, patio furniture, etc. I also feared the fallen fence would continue to get damaged and become impossible to salvage at all. I posted on thumbtack and received several replies. Some estimates were so high, they blew my mind. Then there was Billy. Billy wasted no time. He came right out to my apartment. He was empathetic to the fact that I was paying out of pocket on a property that wasn't mine and had a couple ideas on how to keep costs down. He recommended I buy the material. I bought it same day and two days later my fence was dug, poured, and set. The best part is he beat the snow coming and was extremely conscientious of his work. The old fence sections had rotted and worn down to the point where they had to be cut to be re-seated. Billy left full size posts for when those sections need to be replaced. When they are, they will match the height of the posts. I have already recommended Billy to a colleague who renovates and flips houses as a side business. I, myself, work for a General Contractor in Worcester but concrete and fence work was too much for me to tackle myself. I've been around the industry and I know good people when I see them. Billy is a hidden gem. I'd love to keep him the best kept secret I know but I'd be doing him and his work a dissatisfaction. I would recommend him to anyone. Without hesitation.

I had a cedar fence that came down, including a post that was shattered. Peter came and described exactly the work that was needed which led to a revised but fair quote based of other quotes I got. He got the job because he inspected what was there thoroughly more than the others. He did the job when he said in a workmanlike manner and provided a warranty on his work. Nice guy would use again.

Amazing. Kenny does amazing work. I hired him to install both an aluminum fence and a chain-link fence at my house. He was a pleasure to work with and his workmanship was top notch. I am pretty sure he took more care with my project than he would do for his own. He even decided things weren't perfect (I couldn't even tell) and went above and beyond to improve things even more. It is also worth pointing out that he is very reliable (comes and does what and when he says he will). The real kicker is that he is extremely reasonably priced as well. You can't go wrong with Kenny G Fence and Railings.

herb came out and measured this job twice, because it is large. his son john was the foreman and did an awesome job wrestling with delayed delivery of one fence type, while plowing ahead with the rest. to put this in context, we fenced in around 1300 lineal feet, that's about 1.5 acres of land - with a mix of full round cedar rail and post at 48 inches (3 horizontals) and 4x4 pressure posts running through nearly 900 feet of trees and land. all of it was then layered with a 48 inch high black wire to contain dogs (and deter other wildlife). it looks awesome, and they took time to trim each and every one of those circa 100 4x4 posts to make them the same height even with land slopes, and then lifted and moved assorted cedar to level it at eye view - then trimmed endless wire, poured tons of cement and probably walked about 100 miles to get the whole job done ;) can't recommend these guys enough! i'll be calling them again next year when we're ready to do the small fencing around our driveway entrance.

Alex is fantastic at what he does. We hired him to paint and he ended up doing much more than that. We have a 100 year old house, he made it look new and clean and fresh. Fixed walls, filled in seams and cracks, took the time to do it all correct. We had a doorway hiding behind a large piece of paneling and when he removed it we wound up have to build a wall over it. Alex was able to do all of that and complete it within a day and managed to tape, mud and make it look like it was always there. Alex is very polite, friendly and works around our busy family. Our hallway was a two story staircase and had sand paint on the walls, he removed, skim coated and made it look like it was a complete replacement. We are thrilled and will be using him for all of our future projects.

Jonathan was very professional when it came to building a fence for me. He was referenced to me by a family friend since I am new to the metro west area and it was a great one. He is reliable and his work is solid, he gave me his personal phone and was able to answer my every question. He finished my vinyl fence in just a matter of days and it looks even and well done. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Forever Fence to any of my family or friends

The total length of install is 320ft, which would be installed on three sides of the property (120' length x 80' width). There is a PVC fence (~50' length) to remove along the back width and a 120' length of chain link along to right side of the property to remove. The older chain link at the back and left side of the property will be retained. The land is not level along the back and right sides of the property. Requirements for the fence are: >Picket material: Cedar, no finish (painting or staining) >Fence height: 6' >Fence type: Stockade >Picket width: ~6" (wider) pickets >Cap type: No cap required if wider pickets are used >Gate: a small gate should be added near the back left side of the property between our land and the school. Ideally it would blend perfectly with the rest of the fence. >Please note it's important to us to not have a "staggered" fence - the fence should increase/decrease in height picket-to-picket instead of panel-to-panel >The back left corner is obstructed by a tree stump - it will require you to cut across the corner of our property. We'd like to lose as little land as possible, so a shorter section of fence post-to-post is requested for this location.
