- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I recommend the 90-minute Intuitive Session to start with, because clients find it so healing and insightful on many levels! (Details below) All sessions include a few minutes overtime if we need it. 60 Minute Usui Reiki Session: $75 This is a relaxing, healing session covering all the major organs and systems of the body. 60 Minute Intuitive Reiki Session: $95 Here is unique session to achieve balance and harmony with a focus on specific physical and/or emotional healing. Package of 3 (three) 60-minute sessions: $195 (Save up to $100!) 90 Minute Jikiden Reiki Session: $110 This session that focuses deeply on the physical level. This session is perfect for addressing chronic problems or disease. Or Choose Starr's Specialty!! 90 minute Intuitive Reiki Session: $145 (Includes up to 30 minutes overtime when needed.) The most fascinating of all! Using three styles of Reiki ~ Intuitive, Jikiden and Usui ~ we cam focus on all levels of your Being (physical, mental/emotional and spiritual). This allows time for you to benefit from Starr's gifts of Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, and Claircognizance. You can request help for relationship issues, career guidance, grief and loss of loved ones or pets (which includes Mediumship if desired). We are often able to locate the emotional root of a physical problem, which is a huge step towards healing the condition. You can ask for connection to your Spirit Guides, animal totems, even past life questions can be addressed in this session. You are able to relate to the results we get, and it helps you connect the dots to improve your life. You often leave with 'homework', such as symbolism and parable research, reading, even contacting people to resolve things between you....all of which rounds out the benefits of your session. Sometimes delightful, personal insights come from this 'homework', things you were meant to experience alone to enhance the personal nature of the message. You benefit significantly, and for the long term, from this session!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a person arrives for their first session they fill in the in-take form, then we spend a few minutes discussing their healing goals. This can be physical, mental/emotional spiritual ~ or a combination thereof. I ensure they understand what is Reiki and how it can work for them. I go over what they will experience on the table, and how they can help facilitate to receive the most from their session. Then we're set to go!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first Reiki training was iin 1996 with Dyjana Cote in NH, followed closely by Carolyn DeAngelis from whom I received the Master Teacher level. In 2000 I took a Japanese Techniques Workshop with Arjava Petter and his wife Chetna Kobayashi. Very impressed with their work, I traveled to Germany in 2003 to learn Reiki again with Arjava Sensei, which was the highlight of my Reiki career. Courses followed in hypnotherapy, Magnified Healing,, Kabbalah and other self-directed religious studies. In 2008 I was drawn to travel to Nova Scotia learn Jikiden Reiki with it's founder, Tadao Yamaguchi. Becoming a teacher in Jikiden Reiki is a three year endeavor, but past experience played into the process allowing me to complete the program iin two years. My work focuses on Reiki ~ teaching all levels of Usui Reiki and the first two levels (Shoden and Okuden) of Jikiden Reiki, and providing many types of specialized Reiki healing sessions.
