FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $75 for 60 minutes and $100 for 90 minutes. For traveling, I charge an additional fee starting at $20 (This is bc my table and accessories are heavy, it costs me gas and time to get there and back. It is based on how far away you are from Worcester and if I have to travel the Mass Pike to get to you) ***If you refer me to someone that books with me, your next session will be discounted $10 *** I offer 10% discount on multiple sessions that are purchased at the same time, The more you buy at once, the better the discount! (This is great if you have chronic pain and need weekly sessions!) ***If you are a nurse (and can prove it) you get 50% off (travel fee still applies)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There is an intake process, both verbal and written. (It is confidential and to protect myself and the client, as well as to ensure that the clients get the proper treatment plan). I go over things like where/ what your pain is? Why are you looking for a massage (relaxation, pain relief?) Draping protocol. Prices. Any health concerns? Allergies? If you’ve been around anyone sick (C-19 or otherwise)? Any other concerns you may have? I follow the state regulations towards health and safety, keeping my clients and my own safety as my #1 concern. All conversations and paperwork follow HIPPA guidelines (yes, I’m like a Doctor, except you will actually want to come back for a follow up appointment). When in session, I tend to not talk much, other than to occasionally ask stuff like ‘How’s the pressure’ or ‘Does this spot hurt? Or to say ‘Take a deep breath. Now exhale.” You are welcome to talk as much as you like, about whatever you like and I will enjoy the conversation and ask appropriate questions back (unless it becomes sexually inappropriate or you tell me you are serious about hurting yourself or someone else... in which case I am a mandated reporter and you will be charged full price and escorted out). Some people like to talk, other people will fall asleep. If you do fall asleep, I actually take it as a compliment
