Alex, the owner of Toussaint Productions, was our initial contact and we knew we found the right company right away to DJ our wedding. Alex was professional, punctual, funny, patient, personable, and great with newbies like us who never hired a DJ before, but have witnessed many good and bad DJs over the years. When we found out that Alex was not going to be our DJ, but that we would be working with someone else who works for the company, we were initially let down, as we had SUCH a great connection with Alex. BUT. and let me EMPHASIZE that BUT. We were not let down at all by Gabriel, our DJ for the evening! Gabe was super communicative, just as funny and personable as Alex was for us, and he was absolutely phenomenal to work with for prepping our event. Now, let's get to what you are reading this for: Gabe turned my reception into exactly what I wanted after the pie was cut (we don't like cake, cool?). Great pics Song after song, and his transitions were incredibly smooth and well-timed. For 2 hours straight, he had the dance floor PACKED with some who stayed all that time, and others who joined in depending on the song. In addition, our cocktail hour music was some smooth jazz, and our dinner music was all nerdy music scores, on our request, and Gabe did GREAT with those softer numbers too. At the end of the night, I couldn't thank him enough for all that he did. EVERYONE that we've spoken to commented that Gabe of Toussaint Productions was an excellent DJ, and one of the best ones that they have witnessed working the turntables. I am confident that all of the DJs at Toussaint Productions would do just as good of a Job, and I know for a fact that you'll love your first phone consult with Toussaint.

We found Alexander and Toussaint Productions after we had to postpone our April 2020 wedding due to COVID 19 and our original DJ was not available on our new September wedding date. I did not have a wedding planner and was trying to coordinate everything myself from finding wedding vendors to creating the wedding timeline, and just kind of hoping everything came together at the end. It turns out that I didn’t have to stress as much as I did. Alexander was AMAZING. He always had the communication line open and was super responsive to any little thing in the planning process. On the day, so many people came up to us and told us how great our DJ was. He was able to fit in all the songs that I requested and read the room for what would get people up and dancing. The transitions from one song to the next were so smooth. The DJ is such a huge part of the wedding experience and I could not have asked for a better ceremony and reception. Even when our outdoor reception needed to be moved inside due to the rain at the end of the night, Alexander kept the party going! I honestly cannot say enough great things about Toussaint Productions and our whole experience. Thank you!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At the end of the day my goal is to provide you with positive lasting memories and a great time. Pricing is the least of my concerns where value of service and quality are my number one goals and where I place my focus.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A consultation comes first whether in person or over the phone in which we discuss the details of the event, preferences, and setting. After consultation, preparation begins on track lists, equipment set-up or purchases, and warm-ups. Constant communication is key with weddings to ensure I meet all expectations with songs and dances.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in music production learning FL Studio and expanded the discipline to Reason, Pro Tools, and now Logic Pro X. I was a sound engineer or my church and also created and produced various tracks for performing artists across the country in all genres of music. Becoming a disc jockey was only natural in my understanding of sound and music.
