Mr. Calvin, forgot to mention that he charges a consultant fee $I150.00 for him to come out for the appointment, that was made here on thumbtack, there no service render for there to be a consultant fee to be apply. I'm not sure if this how architect do business, I can see if he was a lawyer, He should put this in his website a bout the consultant fee from the start, not wait to the day of the appointment to inform a potential client about fee and payment. Mr. Calvin fall to do this, as a result he lost me as customer.

Mr. Geoffrey, I am sorry that you feel this way. Understand that after our conversation I felt that you were looking for me to visit the site to discuss potential solutions to your project. I have a specific expertise and like a lawyer or a doctor, I ask for compensation for my time to discuss solutions to specific problems that are related to my expertise. The $150/hr only applies in these situations. It is free for me to come out to see a potential project to give you a quote. I hope you understand the difference. I appreciate the advice and will do a better job of communicating this to my future clients. I wish you the best with your project.
