Kala was incredible! From our initial planning call where we discussed the event and theme, I knew she was going to be the perfect fit for our bartending needs! She was professional, super prepared, organized, flexible, checked in as we got closer to the event, on time, and went over and beyond by customizing her drink menu to fit our theme. My husband loved the drink menu so much he asked to keep it! I did not expect our guest to keep her as busy as they did (we had open bar with around 30 guest), but she did not miss a beat! She kept the drinks flowing all evening! My guest could not stop raving about the speciality drinks she helped plan based on our liquor selection! Several guest asked me to pass along her information so they could use her! Pricing was great, service was great, I could not have been more pleased! I will most definitely be using Kala again.

Kay was super responsive and had a great team to help us with the event! During our 30+ people meet up, we had one bartender who was able to help and serve everyone! The bar menu that she created was super cute and everything came together perfectly. I would definitely recommend her for all of your bartending needs!

Kala did a fabulous job with our event, and I highly recommend her services! From first contact, she was professional and responsive, and she worked hard to be sure everything was perfect for our band's 15th anniversary party. She went above and beyond expectations, including learning to make our signature Brazilian cocktail, providing all essential tools, and even color coordinating her linens and bar menus to match our decor. Her price was reasonable and included setup and breakdown, bar fruit and garnishes. She brought a bar back to keep things moving efficiently, and the two of them were friendly and professional all night long. We wouldn't hesitate to use Kay's Bartending Service again - hopefully soon!

Kala was awesome! Our experience with MBC was wonderful from our initial convo right through the end of event. Before reaching out to MBC I was intimidated at the thought of getting everything together but her custom shopping list made it so easy for us! She helped me come up with delicious, fun and creative signature drinks. The bar was the highlight of our party! Everyone was so impressed with the drinks and ambiance of the bar and of course with Kala herself! Her energy is awesome. Can’t wait to host another event so we can work with MBC again!
If I could add a voice note on here, I would! My experience with Kay’s Mobile Bartending is definitely one for the books. For starters, she is probably the most professional person here. We began our relationship with a phone call where we discussed what our event was and potential cocktail options. She is extremely responsive, just answering my texts with so much kindness. She is extremely trustworthy and hardworking. We were running a bit behind and she was the first to arrive at the venue. I gave her the code and she went in and got right to work. She is super flexible and extremely easy to talk to. We were able to extend our time
with her at the VERY last minute and she obliged with no problems. Both the bar back and her were definitely a GREAT addition to our intimate event and they now feel like family. It was an all around 5 star experience and I cannot WAIT until I’m able to book with her again. THANK YOU SO MUCH KAY💗💗

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
-Our pricing for bartending services is calculated based on an hourly rate, with rates starting at $100 per hour per bartender.
-A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, and the remaining 50% is due upon the conclusion of your event.
-To secure the desired date for your event, we highly suggest submitting your deposit as soon as possible. It is crucial to note that any delays in the submission of your deposit may result in a delay in your event workflow - including shopping lists, bar menus, and other preparations. Furthermore, to ensure fairness among all our clients, your invoice is subject to cancelation your invoice if your deposit is not received within a reasonable timeframe.
-Depending on the size of your event - a bar-back, bar assistant, or additional bartender may be staffed.
-Separate rates are offered for cash bars or liquor catering services. Please contact us directly to learn more about these options.
-Rates and staffing requirements are non-negotiable. We ask that you value our time and respect our business by refraining from asking for discounts. Discounts will be posted when they are available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free consultation call to every prospective customer. During the consultation call, we will discuss your requirements and provide an estimated cost for services. Once you decide to move forward, we will send you an official invoice via email - which will includes all necessary details including payment terms and information on how to submit your deposit.
We follow a professional and systematic approach to ensure a smooth and hassle-free booking experience for our clients.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a mobile bartender, I have pursued courses and certifications to ensure a high level of professionalism, safety, and expertise in the field of bartending. I am certified and insured, and have also completed TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures), TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management), and ServSafe alcohol handlers training.
Please note that we do NOT hold any type of liquor licenses or catering licenses. We can assist with obtaining a per diem license, but you must contact us in advance to do so.
