Initial encounter was so prompt, professional, and easy! He got back to me right away via thumbtack, and within a couple of hours we were able to discuss my many computer problems on the phone. Based on his ability to easily understand a situation that seems complex and direly challenging (I am faced with a bigger computer-oriented project then I can currently handle with my kludged together system and incomplete technical skills) I set up an appointment for my next available slot of time – two days hence. So far, GREAT! My hope is renewed that I can get this project completed on schedule! Stay posted…Feb 1, 2017Verified
Lee was terrific. He diagnosed the problem properly, picked up our computer, fixed and returned it with 24 hours and charged 1/4 of what some other tech wanted. Great experience.Sep 4, 2016Verified
Very prompt, reasonably priced, and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend Poindexter. My issue was pretty straight forward but I would consider them for any issue as they displayed great knowledge and discussed my computer in detail well beyond my specific issue.Jul 20, 2016Verified
Lee was able to determine the problem in a short amount of time and made sure everything ran as it should. Lee will be the first person I call the next time we have computer issues.Jul 5, 2016Verified

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As an IT specialist, I need to have my finger on the pulse of several industries simultaneously. For example, I need to stay current on Microsoft operating systems and their security updates; Mac OSX compatibility issues and upgrades; new hardware compatibility problems; recent high profile viruses and their vectors. For web development, Google and Bing make regular changes to their search algorithm, which can immediately impact compliance standards for websites and business listings. Not to mention regular changes to iOS and Android. Continued education is massively important in an area this dynamic.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I love solving puzzles, applying methodical thought to problems, and seeing the wave of relief on a client's face when you've restored their device to proper functioning. I also love helping client's small businesses succeed by seizing new areas of opportunity, such as building a better web presence, local search, and low cost, targeted advertising. It just feels nice to help people succeed and to succeed in turn. In a highly connected, modern society, web and tech services is the best way to do that.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Virus removals, tune up, and simple hardware repairs and upgrades are the most common computer service. Web audits, which help clients understand how they might improve their visibility online, are my most common web service. A good audit is a safe and no-risk segue into getting more out of web web-based foot traffic.
