Introduction: I'm a recent graduate of a creative writing program and have interned for a small publishing company during which time I helped edit an anthology of short stories and a book of essays. I am currently editing a novel for a fellow MFA graduate and am looking to take on more work. My attention to detail is spot on, my respect for style - regardless of literary rules - is balanced against my respect for the necessity of following grammatical rules, and I am happy to help any writer improve their text without changing it.

Kristen and I were co-editors of the Poetry section of the last issue of Mason's Road. She has a keen eye for mistakes, a good ear for beautiful poetry, and a masterful knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style. She is professional and responsible. She sees the big picture but also pays attention to detail. She has also worked extensively with a small press in all facets of operation. She is professional, kind, funny, and very good at retaining the author's voice while improving the grammar and flow of a piece.

Kristan Campbell has worked as an editor for a novel and two short stories. She is very detail oriented finding minute errors and awkward sentences throughout my work and suggesting ways in which the story can be made better by clarifying character motivations or simply recasting sentences. I highly recommend her for line editing or a thorough scrub of any literary work.
