We agreed on $150 for the job. He asked what Color my furniture was and I said grey. He started off with a lilac Color which I said wouldn't go at all. Next He proposed doing grey infront and white up top to which I agreed. Asked for an advance to get more material. I gave him $50. Next thing I realize he had done brown. When I asked him about it he said he didn't think I would like the grey. I said why wouldn't I want grey when that was what you told me you would dye the grey to and I agreed. He said when he got to the store what he saw was a darker grey so he chose to go with brown being the color of my floor. I told him I was matching the color to my furniture and not my floor and that he couldn't be deciding for me what he thought I would want and that he should have simply called me to ask which I would prefer being the person who commissioned the job. How do you decide on what a person wants and try to impose your choice on me? I have lost $50 and my time and now have to look for someone who knows better than to decide on their own to change a client's color
