Tyrell did an excellent job restoring power in my home. He meticulously checked the panel box and tightened all loose wires and screws and then removed the cover plates of all the outlets to make sure the receptacles were not only carrying power but were safe to use, properly installed, and code compliant. Greatly appreciated the quality of his work and will definitely be reaching out again when an issue arises.

We needed to have a chandelier and ceiling fan installed on 16 foot ceilings, and a faulty GFCI outlet replaced. After other electrical contractors gave us the run-around, or were put off by the scope of the job, we contacted TRS Electric. Tyrell immediately answered our call, requesting details on the scope of the work. Due to the delay in finding a contractor, we needed a quick turnaround. The ceiling heights and time constraint were never in question. Tyrell took the job and scheduled the install within a day.
During our in person meeting Tyrell was professional, polite, and respectful of our property. Without asking, he and his apprenctice either wore shoe coverings or removed their shoes. Floor tarps were laid and they managed the oversized ladder with ease and care. The vaulted ceiling where the fan was to be installed caused an issue due to the angle. Tyrell worked through the problem without the need to have us involved in the solution, he just got it done! Throughout the whole experience, Tyrell was responsive and communicative, qualities lacking with other electricains we contacted. We now have a new electrical contractor in TRS Electric. Other jobs are already being planned. We highly recommend TRS Electric, referring them to friends and family.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer 10% off the final labor cost for 1st Time Customers, Veterans, Senior Citizens, 1st Responders.
It’s also best to bundle your electrical projects together for the best possible pricing. Doing this saves me a trip and keeps down the amount of trips the contractor has to be in your home.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask several questions to make sure the customers have tried everything they could to solve their electrical issues prior to having me come out.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 5 years of apprenticeship training. 2000+ hours of in-class instruction and over 14 years of on the job training. Passed my state of MD masters electrical license test. I’m currently licensed and insured in the state of MD.
