I love working with people and capturing an important time in there lives. Knowing a photo I take will sit on the wall of someones living room or be sent to all there friends and family to celebrate a joyous moment in their lives is a beautiful thing to me. I hired Amanda just a week or so before my wedding as my original plan for a photographer fell through unexpectedly. Amanda and I spoke over the phone after connecting through Thumbtack. She asked me questions regarding the style of photography we were interested in, as well as key moments during the evening to capture. We negotiated a very fair price and Amanda then sent me a contract to sign and return to her. She arrived promptly for the event and started taking photos right away. She also took the groom and me for a brief photo session in a garden at the location of the wedding. We had explained to her beforehand that we didn't want too many posed photos, and she really understood our needs and made sure we weren't away from our guests for long. After the event, she uploaded photos onto a private online gallery so we could get a sneak peak of what is soon to arrive via USB stick in the mail. I would highly recommend Amanda's services! She is an outstanding professional, with a talented eye for beautiful photos. You won't be disappointed.

We had a great experience working with Amanda for our family photo session at Fell’s Point. Despite the windy weather, constant lighting changes, and working with an impatient 2-year old, Amanda was able to capture some lovely and authentic moments of our family.

She did a wonderful job of capturing the happiness of each moment she caught on film, and her editing of the backgrounds left no doubt as to what the subject of each picture was. She did an amazing job of immortalizing our wedding day.

    All packages are custom, I will work with you to come up with a price that seems appropriate for the day.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I would love to chat with you and learn more about what you are looking for. We can discuss style, shot list, location, and any other important details so the day of your wedding or photo shoot everything runs smoothly.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, as well as I have worked for multiple wedding and event photography companies. I have worked 300 guest weddings as well as done a simple maternity shoot in a local park. I have had a wide range of experiences in the world of photography, and feel confident I can handle whatever each new shoot brings.
