I highly recommend FG Chimney Service and Repair! The team was very professional, knowledgeable, and skilled at their craftsmanship. I was especially impressed with Yeyson's quick response in providing an estimate for my chimney and roof repairs.
Yeyson took the time to explain the potential dangers of carbon monoxide leaking from my water heater due to my chimney being blocked. I appreciated his professionalism and concern for my family's safety. I was able to schedule the repairs for the following week, and I am absolutely pleased with the results! EXCELLENT customer service! Although I ultimately went with another company; this was a very close second choice. Jason did a thorough inspection of my fireplace and chimney, inside and outside, and talked me through everything he found (including the parts that looked good!) Jeyson & Team did a fantastic job. My chimney was wide open and needed attention as rain was getting in causing interior damage. Following FG Chimeny's assessment, I found out that that wasn't the only problem I had. It was revealed that not only was the chimney wide open, but the mortar holding the bricks together was so old that it was falling apart, AND, the opening had a flute in it, but it was not doing the job in a manner that prevented water from getting in. Jeyson cut the chimney back about 10", removed the old crumbled mortar, put in new mortar, created a cement capping, waterproofed the chimney, and put a sealant around everything so that there were no gaps at the roofing material and flashing such that water could seep in. Great and thorough, permanent solution that looks good, and I'm happy!

I am truly impressed with the work and professionalism of Yeison and Oscar. Yeison was patient and respectfully answered my questions. He took the time to explain the entire procedure needed to repair the chimney. The chimney looks fantastic! The prices are reasonable.
