I highly recommend EBRR and team to everyone. The team was always professional and on time. Ed Bilo takes great pride in his company and it is obvious he enjoys his work. The team was always sure to make certain the finished product was exactly what we wanted. EBRR is a one-stop shop- they are skilled in so many areas of property maintenance. We had them do flooring, outdoor landscaping, post construction cleaning and concrete repair. Ed Bilo was happy to help with whatever type of work we needed done around the house and provide ideas and expertise. We will be inviting them back to do future projects in our home without hesitation.

I did not particularly like the fact that the workers assured me that the stains would come out of the grout and they did not.

Mike/Oxi Fresh carpet cleaning is outstanding and I would highly recommend him for all your carpet cleaning needs. He was very accommodating with his schedule and was able to come exactly when we needed him. He showed up on time, called to let me know that he was on his way and was extremely friendly and professional. My carpets have never looked better, the rate was very reasonable and he went above and beyond and helped me clean an area rug that I considered throwing away before he cleaned it. Great work! He works quickly and efficiently and the carpets were dry in an hour!! His singing and humming while he works is an added bonus! Thanks for a great job! Hire Mike! You won't be disappointed!

Customer Service was great! They did a great job of cleaning the tile and grout in my bathrooms with no issues. They informed me how to maintain the tiles and suggested how I should redo the sealant. I was very appreciative of their service and the price was affordable. I will be using them again!

My job consisted of the cleaning of a microsuede sectional, our family room carpet, the carpet runner on our stairs to the second floor, and the second floor landing. The company was responsive and provide quotes that were consistent with the final price. The prices are great and the job was completed efficiently. It was easy to schedule the service and they do provide a two hour window (the technician came at the end of the window). I'm taking away one star because they did not remove all of the stairs from my couch and carpets.

He was a great worker and also helpful. We needed a deep carpet cleaning before to move in to a town house and he not only leaved the carpets clean and nice but also helped us to figure out the water conections in our new home. I highly recommend him.

My family has used Yesenia for our cleaning needs for almost 10 years. She is a part of the family at this point. She is affordable, reliable, and does and all inclusive cleaning job. Most importantly, we trust her. We leave our valuables out and our (now older) kids alone with her working in the home. We have never worried about a thing with Yesenia. Highest recommendations for this great person and professional cleaner.

James and his crew did excellent job to complete our big project in a short time from remediation, air duct cleaning, drywall and foundation restoration and even painting the drywall. It’s chalk to find a company who can do these all within our tight budget. We are very much satisfied with the result of his work and reasonable price toco er all. We also liked the bio chemical to treat the mold. It’s healthy and safe. We highly recommend James and his crew.

We needed our apartment to be cleaned at the last minute after we had moved out. Happy Feet was extremely responsive to our time-sensitive request, and the cleaning job was excellent. They were professional and thorough, including deep-cleaning some particularly difficult areas that had been neglected for too long, like the bathtubs. The owners of the company not only care about providing top-quality cleaning but also obviously care about ensuring great customer service as well. Now that we’ve moved, we will definitely call on Happy Feet for future cleaning jobs!

I decided to hire cleaners for the first time and they gave me a next day appointment which was great and convenient. When they arrived I was impressed that one member arrived first and started the job until the next person arrived so I was not inconvenienced. I gave one walk through and I didn't need to say anything else because they organized and cleaned the house without any interference. They were very professional, polite, friendly and I felt at ease with them. They did an awesome job cleaning my house and I especially like the steamer for the floors so much that I know I will be buying one for myself after this. At the end they asked me to do a walk through which I declined because I could tell that the house was thoroughly clean without having to check in detail and a day later I have no regrets. As a care giver, I have been feeling tired and having this company clean for me is one of the best self care things that I could do for myself in a long time. I will definitely be using them again and I will recommend them with no delay. Great cleaning company and great team!

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How can I get my grout clean?

Dirt, mildew and grime can make your grout lines look downright tragic. If you have the ability, DIY tile and grout cleaning is definitely doable. Your main obstacles are time, project size, availability of the right materials and effort. Your first step in tile and grout cleaning is making sure the surface area is cleaned of basic dirt and buildup and wiped down. Be sure not to use a bleach-based cleaning agent, which could react dangerously with the vinegar used in later steps.

Depending on the delicacy of your tile and grout, it may be wise to start with water and friction before proceeding to a cleaning solution. In the shower you can spray the area while brushing gently, or use a spray bottle filled with warm water on countertops or floors. If water won’t do the trick, try a solution of equal parts warm water and white vinegar, and repeat the gentle brushing motion. This combination should begin to lift dirt and grime from the grout. For additional tile and grout cleaning power, baking soda applied directly to grout lines and sprayed with your water vinegar solution can help suds off sticky grime. If your DIY cleaning solutions aren’t doing the trick, store-bought sprays and pastes may have more cleansing power. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning and enjoy your sparkling clean grout.

Tile and grout cleaning supplies include:

    • Old standard or electric toothbrush
    • Stiff bristle brush
    • Spray bottle
    • White vinegar
    • Commercial grout cleaner

How do professionals clean tile and grout?

If you need tile and grout cleaning and don’t have the time or mobility for scrubbing your entire house on your hands and knees, it’s time to turn to the pros. Tile and grout cleaning professionals have industrial-grade machines designed for the sole task of cleaning the porous materials of grout and tile. Typically, a cleaning pro will come out to assess the job and provide you with a quote. Often they charge per square foot (for example, 75 cents per square foot), with higher prices or an hourly rate for areas that will need hand cleaning. The national average cost for tile and grout cleaning ranges from $190 to $250. Once onsite, the pros thoroughly clean the area by wiping or sweeping down and then vacuuming up any dry dirt. Next a chemical tile cleaner is sprayed over the surface, causing dirt to loosen and adhere to the spray; the industry term for this is “suspension.” The pros then clean the floor with professional-strength machines, which often use a combination of steam, brushes and vacuum to loosen, agitate and lift entrenched dirt. Your floor is then rinsed, removing all the spray. Usually a small room can be cleaned in under an hour. Applying a sealant afterward is recommend and will also affect cost.

How much does it cost to clean tile and grout?

The national average cost for tile and grout cleaning ranges from $190 to $250. Pros may charge a flat fee or by the square foot. Rates can vary depending on the type of tile and grout you have (more delicate tiles may mean specialized products or careful handwashing), how dirty your tile and grout are, and what part of the country you are in (regional labor rates and costs to do business affect costs). For example, one floor cleaning company charges 75 cents per square foot for tile and grout cleaning for projects that permit cleaning by machine. Another company may charge $30-$50 per hour for hand-cleaning of tiles. Companies often charge a minimum fee for services to ensure their business expenses are met when they accept a job, no matter how small. In addition, a tile and flooring cleaning professional may charge added fees, such as $25 or more, to move heavy furniture or appliances.
