About
My name is Menekenu Waritay, and I'm a skilled IT technician with broad expertise in technical installations and maintenance. I specialize in access control systems, burglar/fire alarms, audio-visual setups, and digital signage solutions. I’m adept with CCTV/IP cameras, EV charging stations, and fiber optic cabling, including certification, patching, structured cabling, and testing.
My hands-on experience spans kiosks, ATMs, electronic lockers, and low-voltage cabling. I'm also proficient with office equipment (copiers, printers, Mac, Windows) and excel in point-of-sale and self-checkout systems, advertising, fixtures, and merchandising. My capabilities extend to electrical tasks, general trades, and assembling furniture.
In networking, I handle setup and maintenance for both satellite and wireless networks, server/storage solutions, and telecom systems, including POTS and VoIP-SIP. With added skills in digital signage, structured cabling, and cloud-based configurations, I provide versatile, reliable service for any technical needs.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We were having an issue with the wiring for our doorbell camera, and after having electricians come out in the past who couldn’t figure out the problem and left us with it still not working, we were really hoping we could finally get it fixed.
He was able to fit us in last minute, which we really appreciated. What stood out the most was how thorough he was. What we expected to be a fairly simple job ended up taking much longer than anticipated, but he stayed until everything was done properly and our camera was working perfectly. He never rushed through it just to get out the door.
At one point, we discovered that a piece we needed was bad, and he didn’t hesitate to make the drive to Lowe’s to get the parts he needed. Lowe’s is about 20–25 minutes from our house, so that was a pretty big extra trip, but he made sure he had everything he needed to finish the job that night. That really showed us that he cared about actually getting the job done right.
He was also just a genuinely nice and trustworthy guy. He was patient, attentive, and kept us informed throughout the process. He also worked with us on the price, which we truly appreciated and was a huge help to us.
After our previous experiences, it was such a relief to finally have someone who took the time to actually figure out the problem instead of leaving us with something that still didn’t work. Everything is working perfectly now, and we’re so thankful for the time and effort he put into getting it taken care of.
We would 100% recommend him to anyone needing electrical work. It’s not often you come across someone who is willing to go above and beyond like that. We’ll definitely be calling him again if we need anything in the future!

Menekemu did excellent work wall mounting our two TVs and hanging curtains in the living room. He was professional, efficient, and paid attention to detail. The installations look clean and are secure. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing quality installation work.

I had a great experience working with Menekemu and would absolutely hire him again. He installed two Ring cameras and two smoke/carbon monoxide detectors for me, and everything was done professionally and efficiently. He was flexible with scheduling and extremely easy to work with. I especially appreciated that he took the time to recommend which cameras and detectors to buy, which made the process smooth and stress-free.
