- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is my personal belief that coaching services should be available to everyone regardless of their current economic condition. As such my pricing includes a sliding scale for occasional clients. Occasionally, I will post discounted special pricing exclusive to Thumbtack users. Also,you can take advantage of a free thirty minute consultation call, and I offer a free hour long tele-workshop to answer questions and explain in depth how coaching works. learn about them at scotthowardcoaching.com.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A potential client contacts me and we have a consultation. This is a good opportunity for the potential client to ask questions and learn if I am the type of coach is good for them. So bring your questions - ask anything! Remember, a coach will become a confidential sounding board and I will know some important and private details about your life - you must be comfortable with me. After we decide we are a good fit to work together, you will need to read, sign some forms then we decide on a coaching schedule and agenda.

As a commander in the Coast Guard, I have lead individuals and large groups of employees (300+) to accomplish complex organizational goals. I am currently a member of the Maryland Chapter of the International Coach Federation and the ICF Global Community. Additionally, I teach new coaches at MentorCoach LLC, a leading center of influence in professional coaching. My career aspirations include becoming a Master Certified Coach within 2 years. Additionally, I was selected to sit on the International Coach Federation's Independent Review Board. A panel of professional coaches that advises the ICF on disciplinary matters involving coaches.
