iliana quander is an independent designer, artist and educator with a focus on designing and producing one-of-a-kind, short run and custom clothing for women. together with the sohung designs collective, she co-operated a clothing boutique in the east village, nyc for 5 years. since 2008, she has also done on-site tailoring for the fashion and entertainment industry serving both commercial and high-end markets to notable clients and companies.

Working with Iliana was wonderful! I wanted to learn some basics about sewing and she helped me get started. She also gave me some tips on a project I hope to complete one day. I really recommend her lessons for anyone who wants to learn to sew and doesn’t know where to start!
