I don’t know where I start. We hired Skylar with a month until our big day and it felt like she has been with us the whole time. She has gone above and beyond honestly. From making sure our vendors were taken care of to the guest being taken care of. She is a person of many talents. We had a slight hiccup on our part but Skylar kept the show going. Slight modification to schedule to keep us on track but you really couldn’t tell with how smooth she kept it going. Really felt like she was in every place at once. But I know I’m just rambling at this point but she did her thing and I recommend her to anyone getting married or need some planning done.

What a GEM we found in Skylar. My now husband and I got married yesterday on 10/29/22. We had an intimate wedding of 30 people, but lots of moving parts due to the fact that I’m detail oriented and wanted things a specific way :) We decided a little late in the game that we wanted a day of coordinator to help on our special day, and we stumbled across Skylar on Thumbtack.
From the very first conversation with her, I felt so at ease. She was professional, confident, and she asked all the right questions which showed us that she was really thinking ahead so our day could run as smoothly as possible.
We spoke to a couple of other day of coordinators who had a bit more experience with weddings, but we felt the most comfortable with Skylar. She went above and beyond from the get go—doing multiple calls with us, responding to all of my messages, making a logistics sheet, reaching out to vendors, etc., despite the fact that we only hired her for day of services. I am extremely detailed and type A, and Skylar thought of things that I hadn’t.
Skylar worked from 10am to 10pm the day of the wedding, and arrived half an hour early. I had zero stress because I knew Skylar had everything under control. She made sure vendors arrived on time and that decorations were setup according to our vision. When the cake wasn’t delivered on time, Skylar walked to the bakery herself and brought the cake to the venue single handedly. She helped us stick to our timeline, helped gather family for photos, made sure vendors cleaned up according to the venue’s policy, and so much more.
She was professional, gracious, organized, and just exerted such a calm and in control presence.
Hiring you, Skylar, was one of the best decisions we made. We couldn’t have enjoyed our day so much without you.

Skylar is a PHENOMENAL event coordinator! So glad I found her, as it was the best decision I could have made.
