- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not charge for our time to ask/answer questions or teach…communication is at the heart of what we do to guide you in the areas of personal and/or business planning that are important to you. We operate from a fiduciary standard and aspire to be a long term guide to all of our Thumbtack contacts throughout each stage of their lives. If, at some point in the future, we decide to implement some new strategies to the existing plan, we are paid commissions by those companies who we decide to work with. We choose not to charge fees in addition because we feel that further erodes our clients' potential.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Through an innovative and sophisticated process, we design a financial blueprint to help you efficiently maximize your financial options. LISTEN: First we conduct a thorough assessment of your current situation. We take you through a set of deep quantitative and qualitative questions to get a clear understanding of your financial goals, concerns, and dreams. GATHER: We then analyze your investment and risk management portfolios and any other existing planning you may have in place to identify gaps that may exist. DESIGN: Working closely with our subject matter experts and your existing advisors, we design a financial blueprint that aims to meet your goals, concerns, and dreams in an efficient and effective manner. BUILD: We share our recommendations with you and your team. In addition, we educate you on the rationale behind any potential strategies from a holistic perspective. If you are satisfied with our recommendations, we work with you to implement your strategies and secure the required products and services to help you reach your goals. SERVE: Because your financial situation is bound to change, we work with you over time through periodic reviews to help you monitor the strategies in place and their capacity to continuously meet your goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Extensive ongoing continuing education and research provided by LPL Financial. In addition i strive to understand the markets by researching oversees tendencies, credit flows, Libor ratings and general economic production statistics.
